Good Points: Inexpensive
Bad Points: Cheaply made- see below
General comments: This is the .117 cal folding stock rifle also branded as the Hercules B7. It is a great idea and, I hear, a great bang for the buck if you get a good one. My experience with it lasted for less than 20 minutes and less than 20 shots. The stock is made of a light wood and the pistol grip handle and attached trigger guard are made of a cheap plastic. The instruction manual says to hold the pistol grip while cocking. While doing this after about 20 shots, the single bolt holding the grip onto the stock pulled through the stock, shattering the wood and breaking the trigger guard in half. End of my fun. Upon examining the stock, it was apparent that I got a bad piece of wood. The area that split was very soft and almost spongy. It is amazing to me that the maker, knowing the stress that would be put on this joint by the cocking action, only bolted the grip on with about 3 or 4 mm of wood! That is unfortunate, because this could have been a fun, inexpensive gun that has good accuracy and very easy for do it yourselfers to get shooting nice. I still trying to decide whether to return it or put a nice custom stock and grip on it.
