    Terrible customer service from north star cars!! I searched around for a specific vehicle and found exactly what i was looking for at North Star. I had to travel 100 miles to view and when I arrived spoke with a salesmans. He had no interpersonal skills and I had to actually ask him to view the vehicle. I test drove and in spite of the customer service I chose to purchase the vehicle as it was just what I was looking for and was good value. A few days after collecting the vehicle I noticed a grinding noise from the front. I contacted the dealer and made arrangements to bring it in. I was told I would be given a loan car. On arrival I was told by him I couldn't have a car and therefore had to pay for public transport for the day. I was contacted later in the day and told they could not find the noise. I returned, took the mechanic 100yards down the road and immediately heard the noise...funny that!! They could still not find the source of the fault and I was turned away!! I have now had the car repaired at my own expense (over £100.00) having established the fault was a wheel bearing failure. I have no faith in this dealer, especially in the mechanic, and I found the whole experience terrible. I would never recommend North Star to anybody. I feel the 1 star overall rating is extremely generous!!

    I recently bought a car from north star in sayers common, I had a very good experience throughout.
    They were helpfull and Polite, and sold me a very nice car.

    I strongly recomend North Star.

    Not a happy experience. Once we had paid for the car, any sign of customer service vanished. We paid the North Star Cars dealer for a years tax which they said they would organise. A week later they phoned to say they had been to busy to do it.! The dealer did say they would be happy for us to drive the car away untaxed, but neglected to mention this would be unlawful. When they did get around to it they sent off the wrong amount, so the application was rejected. It took 2 weeks after paying fo ...

    It was overall a very plesant experience to buy my car from North Star Cars. All the staff where very helpful. Even when I had a problem with the ignition lock it was rectified straight away.
