Good Points: Hilariously funny - typical Billy Connolly humour.
Bad Points: Some easily-offended viewers may be upset by some of the language used - but I wasn't!
General comments: 'Was It Something I Said?' was made when the world's funniest Glaswegian was in Adelaide. It's been a while since I've seen any of Billy Conolly's stand-up routines, and I have to say they're still as good as ever.Little escapes his attentions this time round - politics, chemically-induced asthma, his own wife and her (then) recent sailing trip when she sold their home to buy a yacht, family friends (who I hope were fictitious...) how scientists might test a pain-o-meter, post-war Glasgow council flats all get brought up and used to make viewers laugh out loud.I've always thought Billy Conolly was funny, so this was an easy choice to buy. And a good one, too.
