I wanted a spring Rifle with that bit extra, looked at a massive selection and came away with the Webley & Scott Longbow SE.
After sometime adjusting the budget scope was able to hit a 3 inch empty tin of cigars dead centre from 30 yards with no support. Pellet went straight through, so doubled it up to two tins, thats four sheets of fairly thick metal.... straight through again! Then fired about ten shots at a normal target, pretty good grouping for an old timer and the hits went where i expected, in fact I was suprised by the accuracy, I guess this is a very user friendly rifle, although does feel slightly on the heavy side, but thats probably just me.
Very comfortable to use. Very nice Walnut stock with thumb hole. Recoil is not drastic and it's not too loud as I might have expected. Cocking is a bit of a knack but then I havent touched a rifle for twenty odd years!
This rifle was not what i went out to buy and cost me a for notes more than I wanted to pay but well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone who doesnt want precharged and all the hassle that goes with that. Not saying I wont go for precharged in the future But I will definately not be selling my Webley & Scott Longbow SE!
A dream of a gun and cant wait to fire off a few more.
