Good Points: Quiet operation. Large easy to read computer display with plenty of program options - including the very nice to have heart rate control. Good instruction book. Basically well made. 'Standard' sitting position is comfortable. Good value for money.

Bad Points: Barely adequate resistance at level 16 for 'out of the saddle exercise'. Pedals poor quality and non-adjustable. Handlebars not adjustable vertically or horizontally

General comments: The 16 levels of intensity are fine for the sitting only position - but for the keener cyclist greater resistance would be nice to allow out of the saddle workouts - level 16 is too light for this.

The saddle is very broad and very well padded - and although comfortable for many - will not suit someone used to a traditional racing cycle set-up - a narrower saddle is essential to allow free leg movement and prevent chafing of the inner thighs, particularly at a higher cadence.

Pedals are clearly poor quality - and there is no adjustment to allow the balls of the feet to be over the pedal spindle - my size nines have the foot arch over the spindle - a size twelve or thirteen may get away with it.

The handle bars are great - comfortable with a large contact area for pulse measurment. The bars though like those on most other similar machines - cannot be adjusted vertically or horizontally to suit those with long or short arms. It would be nice to have a front pillar adjustable for height and rake to cater for this.

Otherwise the bike seems well made - and the saddle is easily changed as are the pedals.

Overall this is a very nice machine that broadly does what it's supposed to.
