I AM QUITE DISAPPOINTED IN MY PURCHASE SO FAR. THE IMPORTANT PART OF THE RIFFLE FOR ME IS THE ACCURACY. THE RIFFLE IS EITHER VERY PELLET FUSSY OR THE HIGHER VELOCITY CHARACTER OF THE RIFFLE IS HAVING AN EFFECT ON THE PELLETS. I HAVE THE STANDARD AIR TUBE ON MY TK WHICH IS 220MM LONG AND THE STATED 28 SHOTS POSSIBLE IS NOT CORRECT. I FIND THAT THE AMOUNT OF VERY TIGHT SHOTS IN A GROUP IS ABOUT FIVE AND I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY ADJUST USING MIL DOTS TO COMPENSATE. I WILL HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY... (read more)

I was stood in the gun shop looking at all the PCP air rifles and getting a feel for them and the one that stands out miles ahead in terms of workman ship quality is the HW. not just the carbine but the hw100 series in general .I looked at the Air arms s410, bsa r10, daystate huntsman and a few others of the same price range but not one of them is a touch on the hw. This gun I got before X-mass and it is just amazing, the price is slightly higher at the moment due to the weak pound, but you get 2 magazines and a silencer making it still not bad value. But when you hold it and use it you realise that its worth every penny, the magazine has no moving parts so is 100% reliable it also sits so low in the mechanism that you can use low scope mounts not many PCP's can claim the same, the silencer is whisper quite, the cocking is fast so fast that some times... If your looking for a decent pcp airgun for around 600 quid look no further, i went for .177 i mainly do vermin.
what a tool this is, far better then the AAs410 in every way.
treat yourself to one of these, youll never look back (read more)
