After riding bikes for 8 years up to 250 I was really pleasantry surprised with the CPI SM 50 2008. Its acceleration doesn't compare to other 50's especiallty scooters. Its six gears gives the perfect control you could want with a 50cc engine. Many comments on its look mainly because it looks like a 125 due to its shape and height. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't just want to get from A to B but wants to really enjoy riding as well!

Had the CPI SM Supermoto 50 over half a year now and have had alot of problems. Its in and out the garage like a yoyo which is annoying and very expensive. Its had to have a new piston and crackshaft after 3000miles, rear chain feed to the rear sprocket snapped off the sway bar and got wedged in the front sprocket. Ive now got electrical issues, luckly i was on the way to the garage to pick up a part they ordered for me when it chonked out on a round about. They manged to get it to start with a ...

My bikes been great, great fun. Goes 47 flat out without the catalyst restricter in. If I down size the back sprocket should get another 10mph, id recomend one anyday.

Fast, better looking than most, get a lot of comments when I'm out on it. None of my mates 50cc's come close to the speed it does.
Would recommend if you buy through a good dealer who offer their own warrenty.

I have had my CPI sm for about 2 months now, on a 08plate, bottom end bearing went due to me overdoing it, now they put the brand new 58 plate engine in it, getting catalytic converter cut out the exhaust next week. Wheelies in 1st 2nd and little in 3rd good breaks, every one thinks it s 125 and a ktm. Have done 500 miles on the new engine now. I would recommend the 58plate bike superb engine pulls like a train and just wants to keep going, could do with a 7th gear.

Wouldnt recommend the CPI Supermoto to anyone unless like us you want it to spend 3 months in repair shop every few weeks and then to be told that its no longer under warranty because of the repairs CPI have carried out, how does that work?

Its a really nice bike to ride especially when you see your mates on their little scooters that do 40ish and then I'm sat on my CPI Supermoto which is doing around 65. Comfortable, affordable and cheap to run.

The CPI Supermoto is a very nice bike. Cheap to run and insure. Fast I wouldnt say it was a 50 cc when I first got on and road it. Smart bike for any age.

It has gone well since I got it in February, it had done 4000 miles and now done an extra 1200, I hear horror stories about reliability but I have had no bad problems, only electrics but it still runs fine. I use it to do a 20 mile each way trip to college 2 days a week and it always gets me there. I used to have a Yamaha jog RR which I thought was good on fuel but this is even better. Ive calculated 123mpg, which is amazing. All in all a good buy and if you treat it well, good value also.

The CPI SM Supermoto is the best looking 50cc supermoto around that is tall and looks more like a 125. I have the ultimate edition that has a few extras from standard. I'll comment some more after I have done a few more 1000 miles on reliablity and that.
