    Good Points: So easy to play - responsive, even tone throughout all registers. Just a delight. The tone is very mellow and similar to my old B&H - not reedy like other Buffets that I tried. The key action is positive and offers just the right amount of resistance. No clattering keys. The adjustable thumb rest is great too. Case it is supplied with is very good. Overall, a wonderful buy.


    Bad Points: Not having metal rings on the tennon joints meant excessive greasing required for the middle joint or it stuck and had to be left for a few hours. That seems to have calmed down now and I beleive is only a problem with new instruments. Mouthpiece supplied is not good, but I would stick to mine anyway. No major bad points as far as I'm concerned!


    General comments: I have no regrets! The Buffet RC Clarinet is easy to play, responsive, even tone throughout all registers. Just a delight. I love it. Sounds beautiful, looks classy!
