The effect of Night Nurse is to dry up the nose and throat. With a bad cold it is usual to have mucous on the lungs. The involuntary action of the body is to cough to eject the mucous on the lungs. Because the throat and nose and dried up the coughing fails to move the congestion on the lungs. Consequently one coughs repeatedly causing painful muscle damage. If one then stops taking Night Nurse the nose and throat will return to its natural state of wetness and one can cough-up and spit out… Read Full Review

Advantages: Safe, helps you sleep
Disadvantages: But drowsy the… Read Full Review

If you get a real stinking horrible cold with all the trimmings of runny nose, sneezing, headache and sore throat you often feel like giving up.
Well don't, just get a bottle of night nurse and you will be fine. Take about half an hour before bed and you will sleep like a baby. So what if you wake up with a mouth full of dust caked in that dry stuff, at least you slept and sleep is good when you're ill!

I use Night Nurse Liquid a lot me, I have one dose in the morning and one at night and I have found that I very rarely suffer from the symptoms of Cold and Flu. I would agree with the manufacturers claims that this product also relieves headache and more generalised aches and pains too as Night Nurse contains paracetamol. I firmly believe that Night Nurse complements a restful nights sleep too, please don't be like me and drink too much, always adhere to the instructions and don't exceed the… Read Full Review
