I took this one night before going to bed, coughed in the night but slept OK. Next morning I could hardly move - felt like a totally Zombie all day! Had to stay in bed - something I never do! Even today, two days later, still feel muzzy headed. Cold has not gone, snuffling and tight chest. (read more)

This stuff is lush, Like others have said it is expensive but worth its weight in gold when hit by flu. I wouldn't recommend taking for general headache, tickly cough or runny nose as cheaper medicine will do just fine.
I love the taste as it kind of sits in your throat well Ive got nothing else to say.. just took a capsule & felt like reviewing =) I'll copy & paste a review I found of another site as it pretty much says it all
Advantages: Safe, helps you sleep
Disadvantages: But drowsy...

If you get a real stinking horrible cold with all the trimmings of runny nose, sneezing, headache and sore throat you often feel like giving up.
Well don't, just get a bottle of night nurse and you will be fine. Take about half an hour before bed and you will sleep like a baby. So what if you wake up with a mouth full of dust caked in that dry stuff, at least you slept and sleep is good when you're ill!

I took Night Nurse the day before I had an A-level exam hoping it would stop me coughing in the exam, it completely knocked me out for the night and I woke up the next morning completely cured my temperature had gone from 39.6 to 37.1 it was amazing, the best flu and cold medicine on the market. I use Night Nurse Liquid a lot me, I have one dose in the morning and one at night and I have found that I very rarely suffer from the symptoms of Cold and Flu. I would agree with the manufacturers claims that this product also relieves headache and more generalised aches and pains too as Night Nurse contains paracetamol.
