Really felt at ease with this monitor and used for a year without the batteries running out. Only problem is that we have a baby that liked to curl up in the corners of the cot, therefore setting the alarm off. Very loud alarm, though never woke baby! (read more)

Unlike most 'baby monitors' this is actually a highly sensitive pressure pad that lays under your babies cot mattress (so they can't feel it in any way) and through clever electronics it monitors whether your baby is breathing or not.
Cot death has been so well publicised over the years that every parent, particularly new parent, is concerned about their baby getting into difficulties in the night when they're not being watched.
