    Good Points: Power.
    Smooth!
    Gas mileage.
    Fun to drive.


    General comments: I am now on my third Honda Gold Wing.
    I have had two 1984's-Bought the 1st one new in 84: GL1200A, and put 5K on it the 1st month!
    I was amazed how good it handled for a big bike.
    I put a Corbin seat on it (Big improvement over stock saddle).
    Had this one for six years but sold it after a bad injury.
    About five years ago bought another 84 GL1200A-Great bike that I just traded for a new GL 1800.
    I had planed on getting a 08 R1200RT, but the BMW dealer wanted to play games on my trade-while the Honda dealer offered four times as much, and a better deal on a better equipped bike.
    Would recommend the bikes to anyone-THAT HAS experience-this should not be a starters bike
