Good Points: Full flavoured yet mellow with some bite but not too salty or harsh.
Bad Points: It can dry out if stored incorrectly.
General comments: The Appleby Cheshire Cheese has a gorgeous crumbly texture and is a traditionally made English cheese. This is totally unlike processed or factory produced Cheshire. It is a wonderful cheese for eating with biscuits or as a complimentary flavour with apples (especially Cox's) or traditional rich Christmas cake. Great for cooking as well. My favourite cheese that I have been eating regularly for over fifty years. Yum Yum.
