2007 FS 550e. great bike lots of power but lots of problems. still love my husa. wouldnt change her with anything

Okay, this is my secound review after 1.5 years and 43hrs on bike. I wired it for street and now it's plated. I got siffer springs and revalved the suspension because I like to jump. I rejetted the carb and removed the exhaust insert. Okay the truth,it handles 6ft drops easy. I had it dynoed and it hit 54 ponies. Twist the throttle a little and it gives lots. Weapon. Rocket. Earthmover. Arm stretcher. Keeping the front end down on bitumen is tough work in 2nd, 3rd or 4th. the Husaberg FE is one of the best bikes I've ridden in the bush in terms of handling and suspension, not to forget the motor which can go from tractable to hooligan in the flick of a wrist. I love the suspension and brakes and 10.5 lt tank all of which addd up to longer rides. I own a 2007 550 Husaberg. live in the Western Australian desert and love my berg. I would never own another bike you just cant beat a berg. I ride with alot of japanese bikes and once they have had a burn on the berg mate they want one- Read Guest's review (82 words)

This Husaberg FE 550 E bike is one of the best off road enduro machines in my opinion.I just sold a 04 450exc, and just purchased a 08 fe550e and love it.- Read Guest's review (50 words)

2008 Husaberg 550 is the best overall enduro I've owned, I had them all ktm, xr's etc. Some thought really went into this machine. The seat is actually comfortable, the fuel tank will give you adequate range,(might be a little big) and you can get any kind of air you want with this suspension. The motor: twist the throttle and the bike rips and you say wow this thing moves. Twist a little more and it gives a lot more, and you say what a beast.- Read fredrich's review (105 words)

Perfect bike for fast trail riding, simple and use specific. With a smaller fuel tank it would work well in a motocross setting. Very stable in whoops and it turns well, very well on the front wheel. Once the sag is set the stock setting work very well for tough gnarly sections as well as sandy sweepers. Has a very European set up for the rider which translates into a competive style of handling. Mine is a 2008 fe 550. By far the best enduro I've ridden. Motor is awesome, no end to the power. Suspension will take anything while being plush feeling. Design allows for easy maintenance and adjustments. Bike is exotic and sexy looking.- Read Guest's review (55 words)

The Husaberg FE550e is a motorbike built by a company set up by ex-Husqvarna employees in the late 1980s following a corporate takeover.Husaberg started making dirt bikes in the late 1980 and appear proud of its product. The supermoto and dirt models will be more obviously changed a bit this year; they don't want riders buying a Husaberg FE650e and winning a supermoto race.
