Good Points: Nice sound. Nice weighted, full size keys. Some very nice instrument sounds and pretty convincing piano sounds. Oodles of features like 6 track recording, built in lessons which display actual music notation as you play, lots of styles, one key chords etc. Kids love the modulater wheel (for bending notes). Also interfaces to a computer for MIDI control and transfers through a USB cable (no need for dedicated adapter card in your PC).

Bad Points: The basic warranty is terrible for such an expensive product: just 90 days part and labor and 1 year on parts!? Lets hope it is reliable! Come on Yamaha - if you think its worth $700 be willing to stand behind it. A 3 year warranty should be minimum on a product I spend this much money on.

General comments: Got this because my wife refuses to play on a standard electronic keyboard because a) it doesn't feel like a piano, b) it doesn't sound like a piano and c) because it doesn't have the full 88 key keyboard. She appears to be pretty happy with the Yamaha and is even exploring some of its endless features like voices, styles etc (something she never bothered with before)
