Good Points: Easy to prepare, convenient, tasty and good for you, even if you should fry them in shallow oil to bring out their flavour.
Bad Points: Quite expensive for the amount of tempeh you get in my view. You could whip up your own marinade in regular tempeh for half the price, but it is a convenience food.
General comments: Redwood Organic Tempeh Rashers are pre-marinated, tangy rich pieces of tempeh (Indonesian fermented soy). Not a 'meat substitute' like veg bacon rashers, but a meal of its own. The flavour comes out if you shallow fry them in a little hot olive oil. Ideal in a sandwich or sliced in a salad.
