    Good Points: Easy to cook,
    very easy to follow instructions on reverse of pack,
    cooked potato is of good quality,
    fluffy consistency of potato is a real taste sensation.


    Bad Points: occasionally the odd poor quality potato is evident in the pack
    compared to 'home-cooked' roasties the potatoes have a kind of manufactured type crispy crust to them this is more evident when eating without a gravy or sauce


    General comments: Aunt Bessies ready to cook Roast Potatoes are a fool proof option if you dont like preparing vegtables but adore the crispy hot roast potato as an accompaniment to many dishes you and your family can enjoy. Simply pre-heat the oven place as instructed, space potatoes on a baking tray and turn occasionally with no need to baste. How easy is that? In my opinion the Aunt Bessie is only trumped in the ready to cook Roast Potato category by the sublime Marks & Spencer offering. Having said that the Aunt Bessie variety offers arguably an increased value for money option especially if you purchase when 'on offer' in a store like Iceland for instance. To really harmonize your dish/meal, I would recommend eating the Aunt Bessie roast potato with a gravy or sauce as I do believe after 3 or 4 potatoes you would feel rather parched and in extreme cases maybe even suffering from heartburn due to the scoffing of hot potatoes too quickly. As will all piping hot food items please enjoy responsibly folks!
