Good Points: Great sighting system for old eyes that still don't want magnification in a scope.
Bad Points: The integrated mount for this air gun/.22 model doesn't fit the Gamo Recon scope mount rail very well.
General comments: I put this brand new BSA 30mm on a new Gamo Recon (aka Delta Fox). It looks great and sights in well and easy. When mounted it didn't sit vertical to the rifle, it was tilted a few degrees to the right. Using two small nails, I made 1/16" diameter pins used as spacers in the tops of the integrated sight mount grooves. Spacing the mount clamps more parallel with the sight made the sight sit much closer to true vertical. I filed the cut nails smooth and painted them black, so unless your really looking for these homemade spacers, you'll never know they are there. The sight is mounted very tightly and seems very resistant to any movement.I'm not sure who's measurement for sight mounting is inaccurate, BSA's or Gamo's. Maybe they are just made to slightly different standards.I like the 11 position rheostat for light intensity adjustment. The red dot seems to be visible in most conditions except with bright sunlight coming into the sight or if you look at a light source like a ceiling lamp. The red dot on this sight is 5 MOA and the sight has no magnification. For me and my 42 year old aging eyes, this sight is the perfect replacement for someone that has trouble putting 3 items in line with one another (rear sight, front sight, and the target). The red dot is focused at infinity, so all you have to do is focus on your target!Nice. I wished I had thought of getting one of these for one of my other guns sooner.
