    Good Points: Beautiful illustrations with step by step procedures. Suggests a "warm" and "cool" pallet which is helpful to the student.

    General comments: Discusses important techniques including mixing paints on the paper for unexpected and original results. He covers painting the negative space very nicely as well as direct painting. I am only part way into this book, but am quite pleased!
