Good Points: This is a very accessible Wildlife Park set in the grounds of a large private estate. Not only are the animals well kept and a major attraction, but the extensive grounds are also well worth a look. Unfortunately our visit was in winter, so the gardens were not at their best. Animals kept in good open and natural enclosures, rare and beautiful Amur Leopards and Asiatic Lions in great enclosures. A superb Timberwolf enclosure - a recent addition. Lemurs, birds, reptiles, small primates and some invertibrates.
Bad Points: Nothing to speak of. More to see in the Spring and Summer if you are more interested in the gardens.
General comments: Restaurant, good washrooms, friendly and helpful staff. Disabled friendly with good paths, a good place for school visits with lots of space for children to run around.
Photography-friendly.
