Booked two flights to Tampa in march with BA and was unable to fly due to work commitments. No support from Holidaygenie despite BA telling me directly that they would consider changing the tickets so I lost £3000. “Awful customer service!”

We booked our holiday to New York through holiday genie, we are due to go in the next six weeks and we still haven't received our documents. I phoned up to speak to someone in the customer service department and they were the most irrupt people I have ever spoke too. “Worst customer service ever”

The agents were very unfriendly and unhelpful all they cared about was taking money off you. “Awful customer service”

I have never been spoken to so rudely before. I phoned Holiday Genie's customer line as I needed to cancel my booking and was unsure if the email I had qualified as a ticket/ whether I was able to have any of the cost back. The call was just answered with 'Hello' as if it were a person's house (slightly unnerving), the advisor barely listened to what I said and seemed offended. “Disgusting service AVOID!!”

I booked once with this company and will NEVER do it again. For most customer service requests on the phone, they will tell you you have to send them an email because they cannot take your complaint over the phone. It takes them months to get back to emails, and they have now not responded to my last three emails where I threatened to take legal action (which I will). I have never dealt with a worse company in the 24 years I have been on this earth. From the moment I bought my ticket with the company, I have had nothing but trouble with them. Originally, there was a problem with the payment for my ticket. “Got cheap Internet Flights but no tickets”

“Very poor service - Can't receive a refund from them”

Unfortunately, my partner has passed away and I had to claim a refund due to the death of the passenger from Holiday Genie. I submitted a refund application in the first week of August 2013 and I still didn't get my money back. The agency doesn't respond to my emails, every time I try to call them they say that my case is being looked at but no progress is being made. “I have no money and no tickets!!!”

Booked tickets for almost £2000 recently. Despite many phone calls and many never replied emails we never received our tickets. Check booking with the airline to be told that our booking was cancelled because Holiday Genie never paid for us. Customer service lies. Yes, I know how you feel. Try one of the no win no fee companies who may sort it out for you. I have similar experience with this company, trying to get someone to answer a query is impossible you just get shoved from one dept to another - customer 'services' - what an inappropriate title for that dept. Accounts - hu! Bookings - hu! They are happy to take your money and then you can't get a reply from them at all. Utter disgrace.

My brother, who booked the same flights through Expedia, got regular emails updating him on changes to the flight times. Completely agree.... they couldn't have said the words: "can I have your credit card number" quick enough. When I tried to contact him with concerns, he turned into a distastefully rude character who wasn't interested in what I had to say at all. Once the commission was earnt, the service vanished. Their management team are just the same. Will never book with them again.

“Impossible connections, flights changed without being...”

We booked because the price was so reasonable . But it appears it was too good to be true. One out flight to Vietnam we had a flight to Singapore with a connection to Ho Chi Minh this gave us 1 hr and 15 mins between connections which was short but do able. However when we arrived at Heathrow we were informed that out baggage would not be transferred and we could not book on to the connecting flight.
