    Good Points: Cheap road tax, and insurance, economical to run.


    Bad Points: Watchdog reports that the vehicles have been recalled in 2005, May 2007, December 2007. The report highlights that several of the vehicles have caught fire even after the problems have been attended to.


    General comments: Purchased my Vauxhall Corsa from dealers for 3.5k. mileage 36 000, full service history. Car broke down 3 weeks ago: the garage has finally found out that the engine is damaged and unserviceable. Costs of repair/replacement £2k.
    May seem like a good buy initially, but have found out that the costs to repair problems outweighs the cost of initial purchase.
