Bad Points: With Corbin seat, I run low on fuel before my bum gets sore...wait, is that bad?
General comments: I've been riding a Kawasaki ZRX1200R for about 30 years, since I was a wee lad, and this has got to be one of the most versitile bikes made. Romp on it, tour it, track it...she just keeps on giving. It won't run the top end with the race reps, but they don't wanna keep riding for hours on end either. I love this bike, the only reason i gave it a nine instead of a 10 is because, hey...nothings perfect stock. I could dump time and money into it and make it faster and handle on rails, but why? I gave $3750 for this bike and it is a blast to ride, fast as hell and is a beauty...you can't go wrong! Comfy, monster power, and you beat the GREEN in the sunlight!

This was a low ks 2001 built Black ZRX with the purple and white go fast stripes. My first impression was that is was very controllable and smooth. I was a bit worried that it would be a real handful as I had only returned to riding a month earlier after a 20 odd year absence. I couldn't get over how it just trickled along so smoothly, but went gangbusters when the loud handle was used.
The power is seamless, dial in your cruising speed and it will maintain any speed up hill, down dale and overt ...- Read fourfingersofdeath's review (385 words)

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Kawasaki ZRX for the last 3 years. I use it more as a cruiser than a peg scraper. It consistently returns between 45 to 50 mpg. Once the seat is replaced it becomes a competent weekend touring bike. Many people use slightly to heavily modified versions on the track and are quite good at teaching sport bike riders a few lessons. I've put 10,000 miles on this bike and intend to keep her for many years to come. Highly recommended.- Read roadrex's review (141 words)

I bought mine in 2006. The bike has awesome power, wind it on through the gears and you'll know what I mean (hang on).
The engine torque is brilliant,in top gear from 30mph to top speed brings a big smile to your face. It is comfy and will take a pillion no trouble. When parked up anywhere it always gets a positive response from the public due to its presence. In my view is certainly the best retro bike out there. The handling is good for such a heavy bike, it can hold it's own on most roads.

The Kawasaki ZRX1200 has retro styling with modern brakes and handling. Stong power plant and looks fantastic. Not built for flat out track days but boy does it handle just dial it in and smile all day. Great for upper body stength and a complete all round package.
Good value for money and a must for the out riding experience.- Read blusblu's review (67 words)

I bought this because my brother-in-law recommended how much he enjoys his. I would recommend the larger windscreen as the fairing is quite small. The wind is no problem until 70 mph and that comes up real quickly. You will appreciate how Eddie Lawson and others raced these things and how much arm strength you'll gain from holding on and hiding behind the headlight. For general riding and touring around it works great. For sporting around it is fast and powerful at all times even with 2 comforta ...- Read TORPY4's review (334 words)

The Kawasaki ZRX1200 is an easy bike to ride with a lovely riding position and comfy seat. The only drawback is wind buffetting at higher speeds. The speed of this thing is awesome. I short shift but if you hang onto a gear and give it some, boy does it go.Beware, if you like throwing a bike around bends this thing is heavy.- Read silverstorm's review (77 words)
