Good Points: Outstanding service. Beautiful blooming flower teas and glass tea sets.
Bad Points: None
General comments: I don't usually bother to write reviews but as a hardcore tea aficionado, I wanted others to know about this great company. I'm heavily into quality white and green teas but was skeptical about blooming flower teas. I tried some Numi flowering teas once and were distinctly unimpressed. Exotic Teapot blooming teas were a totally different experience. Because their products are hand-tied from white silver tip tea needles, the taste is really excellent. Light, delicate and quite similar to white tea. I particularly loved their Marigold Meadow, white jasmine and blooming carnation teas. I also purchased a Premium Blooming Flower tea set as a wedding gift for some friends. It comes with a glass teapot, cups and some blooming teas. It makes for a really unusual gift and they continue to rave about it. Blooming teas are especially good when you have friends or guests over for a dinner party. Most people in the UK have never seen one bloom before so are quite surprised the first time they watch the show. Make sure you serve them in a heat resistant glass teapot or wine glass.

The set came in a beautiful bamboo box which housed the double wall glass teapot, four very cute cups and a tin of different teas. Each blooming tea offered a new experience with a different flower effect and flavour every time. Unlike other jasmine tea balls I've purchased from others in the past, each one was vacuum sealed which was a nice touch. I subsequently ordered sev ...

I bought a couple of varieties of flowering teas from the Exotic Teapot. They make a great end to a dinner party. Our friends were pretty amazed by the visual sight of them expanding into a bouquet of green tea and flowers. They do taste pretty good although can be quite weak if you add too much water to the pot. You definitely need a glass teapot as well to enjoy the show. They are certainly worth pulling out for a special event but a bit too expensive to drink on a regularl basis.
