Good Points: Unfortunately the good point about the M&S Ashbourne SOFA ie seating comfort is totally non-existent in the same model SOFABED.

Bad Points: The SOFABED M&S Ashbourne model is the most uncomfortable sofa bed when used as a sofa. The seats are hard and one slips off the seat when seating.

General comments: When we viewed the M&S Ashbourne SOFA in the showroom we really found it very comfortable. Nobody in the store told us that the SOFABED same model was totally different as far as sitting comfort is concerned. In other words when using it as a sofa, which is the most common daily use, this model is totally unacceptable and has negative value for money. We just wasted our money.

Sofabed ordered in October 2007, to be ready for guests in Christmas holidays. Delivery dates estimated by M and S at 2-3 weeks. We were called at the end of November and told our delivery would be in three days time between 8 and 1. When told this was not possible we were told it would be after Christmas. It took two weeks to get the sofabed delivered in time to avoid having to book guests into a hotel.
