Good Points: I'm a mocha coffee lover (cappuccino also) and I received this machine for Christmas. I have never made an espresso or similar before and was totally impressed with this machine. My first attempt tasted just like cappuccino albeit a bit cooler than normal. I tried reheating the machine as per instructions and, hey presto! I'm now tinkering with different chocolate additives to achieve my ultimate coffee.
Bad Points: Can be a bit noisier than expected but placing a paper kitchen towel between the drip tray and the cup rest does the trick. The cups placed on the cup warmer tend to rattle a little also.
General comments: I have never used a coffee machine like this Delonghi Metropolis Espresso Maker before and therefore cannot compare with others so I have given this one a rating of 7 as I believe 5 would be average and I am impressed! Although I'm sure a stainless steel, £100's machine would probably be quieter.
