I'm getting on in life and wanted something to do alongside my current business work. I took up the accounting course as I may as well replace the costs of an accounting if I can because we all know how expensive they can get. After completing the course I can say with confidence that Im certain I can now do the major parts of my accountants job and just keep them for advice along the road. Anyone working for themselves, I would recommend an accounting course, cheap and pretty straight forward with the modules.

The material was sectioned out well which was easy to follow, the course guidance explained fully what i needed to complete beforehand in order to work through the course and take the exam at the end of the course. I was able to access the course material at anytime which was convenient for me instead of working to deadlines which isn't always feasible for me being a mum and working full time.

I learned about risk theories, looking at the environment for risks, risk structure, case studies and managing diversity. The course was ideally designed for me as I was wishing to continue my professional development, however it is open to all students, its a ten unit course which is clearly designed and easy to follow. You work through each unit to gain knowledge and understanding of risk management, there is no exam with this course, you are assessed via coursework only. The only requirement for this course was 120 hours study time.

I explored proactive and practice specific strategies relating to everything covered on the course about counselling skills for children and young people. This is a great course as a stand alone or progression course for those who already have qualifications in Childcare, Child Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

From my experience, you will gain knowledge of how to help develop a range of important and transferable skills such as data skills, presenting arguments and making recommendations on the basis of the available evidence and problem solving to help a business maximise their potential. There are ten units which you will work through numerically this is to help keep you on track on such as, starting a business, financial planning, finance, people in business, operations management, marketing, strategies of marketing, accounts and managing change. The recommended study time given per unit was 20 hours, this included reading and completing the unit assessment. I look forward to getting a job using my new qualification.

I enrolled onto this course as an add on to further my knowledge within the business sector. I am currently working in HR as an apprentice but to further my role I decided to enrol on to the accounting course so I can explore other areas of business management.

This course consisted of 12 units covering all of the main aspects of Advertising. Advertising managers oversee advertising and promotion staffs, which usually are small, except in the largest firms. The course provided me with a firm grounding and comprehensive understanding of advertising and the media in a business context. Thank you Oxford College.

The feedback I received form my tutors was so motivating, I couldn't wait to get started on the next unit. If I lacked motivation or needed help at any time I know I could contact a tutor and they would come back to me with valuable support. I would recommend this college to anyone looking to do an online course, I cant believe I haven't done this sooner and will be looking for my next course shortly.

I enrolled onto the business administration course as I left secondary school, it was the easiest course I could find, or so I thought. I was young and thought it consisted of sitting in an office typing all day. However I was wrong, having completed this course I have completed several areas of knowledge such as writing letters, rush up on my English language and spelling and business management.

I enrolled on to this course because I felt it was the next step in my career development. I felt I had completed childcare, daycare and early years development and wanted to venture into another area of child development. Child Psychology for me was a great course and the best decision I've made. It was the next stage in my education development, it highlighted so many other areas of development in children I hadn't covered yet.

I decided to enrol onto this course as I was already completing an online course via distance learning, I had never come across this previously until a local college told me about it. I did some research and found a college, I enrolled onto a childcare course as I thought this was my career forte with having children. Upon completing my course the college I had studied with approached me and asked if I was interested in becoming a distance learning tutor, I enquired about the role and thought this could be a career set for me. I enrolled with Oxford College to do this course.

This course explores a range of areas showing how businesses works. You will discover how the world around them affects decision-making within a business, what leads to change and how do businesses respond to these issues and the range of perspectives that can be taken on business activities such as the services on offer.

The company I work for sent a bunch of us to gain more knowledge on the business side. We were all enrolled at the same time and none of us have had any problems in passing. Its pretty good really as we all helped each other out like a self-contained classroom during work hours!

This diploma in Archaeology is designed to show you aspects of history by looking at available literature and archaeology. You will cover various elements such as the study of ancient things methods and how evidence is analysed and dating artefacts. You will review many histories of Britain such as The Late Iron Age Period to the fourth century AD when traditionally the Romans came and left Britain. The course will help you to gain knowledge to help build research, develop questioning skills and analytical skills.

I took this course as a add on for my own professional development. I have just started to work as an apprentice in the science facilities at my local college. I am interested in the human body and everything which goes with it such as this course, diet and nutrition and exercise.

This course has taught me so much more to travelling, it has highlighted the effort the travel companies make to find destinations suitable for travellers, prices and offers available too. It has highlighted more lovely countries to travel to and more of the world to see and explore.

This diploma is designed to explore Drama. You will review and explore a variety of Shakespeare scenes and plays such as Othello and The Cherry Orchard. You will research thee background of authors and learn how they put together scenes and characters. You will discover the relationships and backgrounds of characters and authors which will educate you on the historic events through their life as well as the play writing. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would happily give it top marks.

I have always enjoyed everything about travelling, I am well travelled having visited many countries and thought this course would suit me well. The course helped me to gain understanding in other areas of travel such as travel agency, tourism, destinations, long haul destinations, the role of the travel agency and customer service.

The course guided me through each module which clearly explained the growth and development process of the course and what I was going to study I have now completed the course and have further knowledge of Biology as a whole. I have always found Biology interesting since secondary education but never developed this until now and this has been the best decision I have made. I am enjoying every bit of it and am hoping to progress to a Level 4 course upon completion.

When I signed up for this course I didn't know much about marketing, business or what it involved. I chose this course as I wanted a change in career and marketing was one I liked the look of. I contacted the college for support, the career advisor's efforts and advice was second to none, she was a lovely, well spoken and polite individual. She couldn't do too much for me.
