My husband arranged this car insurance as it seemed the cheapest...........with an excess of £3000 of course the annual cost was cheap with that excess! We had the insurance for about 3-4 months and had a chipped windscreen, being fully comp you would expect to be free with auto glass as they claim on the tv (and we have done before), No they don't deal with company (I cant understand why!) Got a quote and paid a deposit over the phone then a call back 10 mins later said it was wrong and it will be £18 a month more i told them forget it ill have my deposit back. 2 weeks later still arguing with them trying to get it with excuses like the insurers haven't returned the money yet. Got a quote from these guys as they were the cheapest for car insurance but then when it came to setting it up they then said they wanted an extra £400! I bought insurance from this company (later found it was a broker I was insured by Highway insurance company)via comparing site. Firstly they didnt bother to post the hard copy of the policy, just sent an email with attachments of policy. I had to go to a computer shop to print it off at my own expense and hassle. i wanted to cancel my policy as it was found that i had a previously unknown claims fault brought against me. my insurance was £1049. After three months they wanted to increased it to £3225 as i did not inform them. I said at the time i took out insurance i did not know somneone had placed a claim against me. even after resubmitting the correct information they still came out as the same price online. i completly agree with this staement except i can add more!!!!!. i said to them i was going to get a new car in the next few weeks. the lady told me if i rang up and changed the policy it would be for free but when i did this a month later they said i was going to have to pay an etra £445 on top. it doesn't even cost that much for my insurance anyway!!! and it was to move to a smaller car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
paid all togetehr £1000 for me and b/f then got him took off after a week as he got his own car they said i could only get 40% back for him. a month later still havnt got that money then they want to charge me another £445 to change to a smaller car

I am sure there must be some kind of a scam going on and I feel so angry with the way this company have dealt with the setting up of a minor insurance car policy. Broker King (Owned by Allen and Allen) are essentially a less than scrupulous Insurance company who get business by appearing at the top of insurance price comparison sites. Their price however usually has no relation to what you end up paying. Their sales team have one aim, to get your deposit. The price you see on comparison sites for this company is good, they were the cheapest on mine by about £50 with a quote of £940 but to buy you have to call them up. Once you call they have all your details ready and go through them with you and tell you to hold. Each time when talking to them they claimed things I had not put on the quote, lost the orginal quote and requoting, each time the quote went signficantly up. They are scammers! I set up a policy after looking on moneysupermarket.com. It was the cheapest quote by far so I didn't give it a second thought. To put a VERY long story short.. I set up the insurance and after the 14 day "cooling off" period, I got a phone call saying that I have put false information on my form on Gocompare.com?? I didnt even use that comparison website! You don't know who you're dealing with... i've got letterheads off 6 different companies so far. They want far too much personal info inc copies of your driving licence.
