Good Points: Good graphics and realtime effects, huge and varied map.
Bad Points: The online mode is very confusing and not what you would expect it to be.
General comments: After being a fan of all the other burnout series I bought Burnout Paradise. At first it looked and sounded great, but after a few hours of play it just seemed to be a bit lifeless. The story mode is exactly like need for speed carbon except your choice of cars gets handed to you as the game goes on. Moving to the online section. The game isn ' t as simple as log on and race. 8 of you can be on the hosts map at one time and the whole idea is to do certain challenges that the hosts provide, it is possible to make a race up. Good point is you get to choose the exact route of the race. Bad point is by the time you have done that most people have left your game! If you like the need for speed set ups then this is definitely for you but it is a far cry from the burnouts that we love!

Burnout Paradise is like the ordinary typical burnout game, hard graphics and a boring storyline. The game is not worth the money I'm afraid. 3/10 not recommended.
