I love my Vostro 1500; but don't assume for one second that I think it's a good peice of equipment, because it really isn't. I've grown attached to my Vostro; I've owned it for approximately four years now and it is also the first Laptop I've ever had to myself.
It crashes fairly frequently, and had my boyfriend not been there to perform a 'System Restart' approximately every six months, I'd have given up on my Dell long ago. I've lost many important documents along the way.

Dell Vostro 1500 is a fantastic machine for the house and the upgraded screen is excellent for watching movies as long as you are not in the garden. I also upgraded the battery which means less charging. It handles everything in its stride and has Dell reliability. A range of good packages come with the Vostro. Good all round laptop except for portability. This is really a desk top replacement. (read more)

Dell Vostro 1500 is cheap and very reliable I find it very easy to use and have not had any problem with windows vista and I do recommend it for any person interested of acquiring a good cheap Laptop and value for money! its also fast!

My Dell Vostro 1500 has good battery life with the optional 9 cell battery. Nice clear screen. Very quiet, in fact almost silent even after leaving it on for a long time. Lots of features including a DVD burner, wireless connections 4 USB sockets and lots more! Superb value for money for a business laptop. Well built to withstand the rigors of daily use and a terrific spec for not a lot of money. Dell reliability should make this a great laptop for home and business use. (read more)
