Terrible waste of money, If the wheels aren't constantly locking then there falling off when your out and about. To make matter worse it then completely collapsed and cable snaps with my dd in her carseat :-( The chassis feels like its made out cheap material wobbling and bending when going over cobbles or on/off pavement. Most rewarding part of this buggy will be when i take it to the dump. Steer clear of Mama and Papas buggy's there all the same just named differently. Going to stick to MACLAREN, safe, reliable, trustworthy buggy, which has been used on/off for 5 years and goes as good as it did the day it was brought!!

I've had this pushchair for quite some time now and I have loved it apart frm the from left wheel locking from time to time and the rain cover ripped very easily. Having said that, recently the front left wheel fell off in the middle of the road and I had to finish my journey with three wheels, I managed to fix it and a few weeks later it happened again whilst I was getting on the bus, I fixed it again and it fell off while shopping, I fixed it once again and it fell off after walking no more than 100 yards up the road, I give up fixing it now. Would I recommend to a friend, ask me a few months ago I would've said definitely, but ask me now I say definitely not

3 years ago me and my husband were shopping for a pram, looking at the different makes. Test driving some and even getting some feed back from some parents about ther buggies...So we had an idea of wat we wanted....Went to Dublin did some shopping for some buggies, went to mamas an papas....Liked some of the buggies....I was more going for the look then the function of it...That was more my husband, looking into the joints , material , etc . I fell in love with this brand in particular because of the color Aqua marin it had , my husband liked that it was all metal not plastic and that it would be more durable...So we bought it. The Herbie Ziko. At first it was great easy to clip on too and to fold. Then the rain cover only lasted 3 mths ...CRAP! rips from the side of the zipper the sim... should have known, you just can tell that the quality of the plastic was CRAP....! compare to the ones Smyths Toy shop sells.....ah....ah....ah..Then just arount the six mths all of a sudden just a bump on the pavement the pram goes down i nearly faint at the sight of my baby pram going down him in it....it was soo surreal. I shed some tears just of the thought something happening to my baby....got it fix up again this time i was very cousius of using the pram when it happed again i thought maybe it was my fault for hitting the sidewalk, again got a jolt on my stomach, told my husband wat had happend he check it out everything seemed well as he inspected all the joints, bolts etc....So again when it happend to my mother in law and she got the fright of her life....we stopped using it and she bought us a simple cheaper buggy that was great. I shall never forget those moments forever traumatized...At that time too much stuff was going on moving house starting a new business that we just put the buggy aside since we had one the was bought for us didn't do nothing about it till last year we wrote the company and they said to take the buggy where we bought it and they would then send it the the UK sight for the charge of 75 euros so we did ....Was fixed but do to our schedule we asked out sister in law to pick it up for us so she did, but it's been months since we haven't picked it up only to find out just today that she disposed of it ah...ah....ah....ah...So so depressed now because i just found out i pregnant and they is my little girl i've been wanted for soo long and was lookin forwar reusing the buggy again forgetting of wat had happen in the past with it....Started cleaning the rest of the body parts we got for it and was all ready to go and put to use.....But now that i think about it thank GOD all might that for some reason things happen it wasn't meant to be used again....The history of the buggy would shurly happen again... and i see it as a sign.....No wonder i had trouble finding out about the buggie i believe is out of service.....I WONDER WHY...or prob they just changed the name and is still being made....?

I chose this pram (1st time mum)as i liked the design, & it was very smooth to monuver. I also purchased the car seat from Mamas&papas, which fits onto the frame, which comes in very handy when you have a sleeping newborn! At first i was very pleased with this pram. However, the frame really lets this pram down :( as one day (during the first few times of using the pram!) the frame collapsed as i went down a curb (with my newborn in it!!!) thankfully the road was clear and my baby was unhurt (as i managed to grab at her car seat handle to prevent her hitting the ground). Mamas&papas fixed the frame for me (however i was without a pram for almost 2wks, as they had no suitable replacement for me to borrow, Poor customer service!!!!)The frame has never collapsed since repair, but now doesnt always stay 'locked down' when folded, so is a real pain to transport in the car boot, plus after only 8/9 months of use, i gave up with this 'pain in the bakside frame' and brought another pushchair (chicco multiway stroller) which is still going strong 18 months later, & cost a fraction of the price @£98!!!! Overall, i wish i had purchased a much better pram for the money i paid (approx £800 at the time, including car seat & isofix base) I will probably not bother to use this pram for baby number two, a complete waste of money!!!!!

We have had this pram for a while now and it has been quite good. We used it from birth and, although the front wheel rotation lock levers do wander so one wheel locks at bad times and the back wheels have to be checked from time to time so they don't loosen, its quite a good pram. The real shocker for us was when we converted it to a push chair. A couple of weeks after we started using the pushchair seat, the harness clip snapped rendering the pushchair unusable. We called Mamas & Papas Customer Services who, after half an hour on hold, told us that the harness was fixed to the seat and so required a whole new seat unit, costing £80! When I pointed out that the clip could easily be removed I was told I could take it or leave it. Other than the lousy customer service, the other main gripes are that the rain cover is extremely flimsy and tears with normal usage and that the pram handle doesn't extend far enough for anyone over 6' to be able to push the pram comfortably.

Brought this for my 2nd child. I did get it from the factory outlet in stoke for £299 instead of £500... Bargain I thought! Plus side it is very easy to push and is very comfy for my son as a new born and now when he is 2. It is good on various terain also. The covers are easily removed and washed. On the negative side the lovely red, (I got the hot and bothered Herbie) cover and especially the hood has faded so badly it looks really awful. A year ago was crossing the road and it folded in on itself with my son in it, I thought it was my fault for not clicking it properly but then it happened again. The store did fix the problem. The back tyres have had alot of puntures and are wearing down quickly. it was great to start off with and now is just awful all in all. A spoke on the hood is broken and the rain cover has ripped to shreds. I'm now pregnant again and am looking forward to dumping this one.

i bought my herbie from a baby barging sale i have had it for 2 days now and yesterday i tested it out and thats when it folded on its own i thought it was because i didn't put it up right when i did fold it but i was out walking to day and went down a kerb and it collapsed on my again. the both times my son was in it

We bought this one for our son when he was first born and used it as a pram then converted it to the buggy set up. Whilst I give it 10 out of 10 for comfort (for the child), storage space and ease to fold, we have been dogged with problems from within 9 months. The issues have always related to the front wheels, either falling off or jamming. It was sent back to Mamas and Papas twice, but neither sorted the problem. The left wheel suffers with permanent 'shopping trolley' wobble and it is impossible to push the pram at any pace as the wheel buckles. If it did not have this persistent problem, intensified by very poor customer service from M&P, I would happily rate it 10/10.

Mamas & Papas Herbie raincover is not fit for purpose. It ripped after about 5 uses but the company's view was that it was 'not a manufacturing fault' - how can this be? It ripped along the stitched edge and had not been subject to any rough handling. Dont buy this product - very poor!

Mine lost a wheel within 4 weeks of use, fabric began to fade within 6 weeks and finally it was only 5 months old whe is collapsed folding over with my son in side!!! also when i appraoched mamaps and papas about faults they would do nothing as it was over 6 months old at that stage ( i bought it 2 months before birth of my son ... in my opinion the biggest waste of £500 ever

I bought this from a friend who used it for her 2 children previously so its 3 years old and i love it! it is a tad bulky when in shops and the car but thats the only complaint i have. It is easy to steerand my son seems to find it very comftorable actually he sleps better in this than his bed!!

I have been using my herbie ziko for a year and a half now. I used it from birth and find the pram great i have bang it and crashed it enough times and never had it collapse on me. can steer it with one hand, light, big shopping basket my son allways seems comftable in it. Only faults are it's quit wide which is a problem in shops with norrow isle and to fit it in my boot you have to removed wheels but i find it very easy and quick to take apart and put back up.

Absolutley terrible push chair. DO NOY BUY!!!!
The wheels have fallen off our pram twice now, front wheels lock and you literally have to drag the pram about. Now mamas and papas tell me we have to pay to get it fixed when it is 13 months old and cost the best part of £500. Terrible product and terrible service. Wish I had read these reviews before we bought.

I bought this pushchair over a year ago - from the factory outlet store in Huddersfield. I've found it to be really bulky, hard to steer, hard to use in shops, annoying to get in and out of car boot - as our car isn't that big. A few weeks ago, my husband was pushing my son and went down a curb - the pushchair collapsed beneath him & is now completely broken. I phoned the factory outlet store and they have been very helpful. I spoke to a lady called Janine, who has arranged a pickup from mine (Derby) to be taken for repair with no charge. So whilst this is excellent service, I've been disappointed with Ziko Herbie from day 1 and wouldn't recommend it.

I think this pushchair is great and my LO loves it. Pram was warm and cosy in the winter. And now in pushchair mode, my LO loves being out and about. We've taken it everywhere - on the beach, on bumpy paths, through mud, and its always worked really well. Like the fact that its different and not many people have it.

I wish I wud of read these reviews before purchasing the herbie. Mine lasted just short of 5 weeks! After 3 days the o/h was out pushing our son wen the front wheeled locked goin down a curb, pushchair including baby tip over with o/h landing on top... I thought he was been dramatic, he wasn't! Then the frame started wobbling an was v. Unstable and then the classic pushing along an the frame collapsed with baby inside an continued to do this everytime the handles were touched. I always believed m&p's had a good name but then the customers service has been horrendous too. I'm still waiting for my pushchair collecting an my money back. I will never buy from m&p again and believe using this pushchair puts your Childs welfare at risk! This pushchair needs recalling and m&p need to put our children above cheap material an profit before they find thereselfs out of business.

I've had this push chair for about six months now and had no problems, i live in a small village in Spain in the middle of the mountains with no car and this push chair has been a wonder.
Touch wood i won't have any of the problems mentioned here, but i think it's brilliant, i've left it out in the strong Spanish sunshine and the colour has only slightly faded (i have the herbie hot and bothered) the only problem i've had is with the front wheels locking slightly, but all you have to do is unlock them, usually happens if the front wheel breaks get knocked when i'm getting off the bus or putting the chair into a car or something, also it does reccommend that you oil the wheels regulary to prevent this.
All in all a good buy in my opinion.

OMG......This happened to me about in the 6 mths. Stopped using it after it happened 3-4 times ....Was soo sadden, depressed about it. In shock. Me mother in law then bought us a very less expensive buggy and just put the other one in the attic. Till last year wrote to the company of what had happened and they said to send it the the store we bought it and they world send it to the UK the charge for this was 75 euros. So we did to see if they can fix it to use it in the future... apperently they did fix it , had my sister in law that live in Dublin pick it up but we hadn't gone to pick it up for almost 6-7 mths...to my surprise i was just told today thay probably on a rage she threw it out....so now i don't have a carcus for my prom....i'm soo gutted adn depressed because this time around i'm preg and was soo looking forward to using it again.... :(
