“Poor Organisation and Communication”

Sarted off very well, organising to get my car booked in for a repair has it had been hit in the rear and needed a new rear panel and tow hitch. I also liked that they asked me to pop by before the car was booked in to make sure they could actually do the work required. Nottingham Branch. Our brand new Qashqai went into the Nottungham branch with significant front end damage. In our first conversation with them they advised us of the difficulty getting replacement parts for our new model. I waited a week or Nationwide to phone, then got bombarded with calls once they wanted to arrange a booking. I got different updates from two different people on the phone within 3 minutes, because they called me so incessantly they didn't have time to speak to each other!!? The service I have received from nationwide Newport is excellent. They arranged to have my car collected and A courtesy car deliverd all around my work schedule. They then contacted me twice a week keeping me up to date with the progress of my repairs. “Exltremely dissatisfied with their customer service”

Ashton underline - Exltremely bad customer service. Very casual phone handlers, and unprofessional. Didn't provide me a curtesy car, even though I asked for one many times. I made it clear I should be contacted on another number they had on their system and they kept calling my other phone which I didnt have with me. I noticed, reading through the other reviews of this company that they do reply to reviews. I wait with baited breath to see what they have to say about this. I also note that most reviews are for the garage / body shop that does the repair and not nationwiderepairs - time will tell...

Well, they've had just under TWO WEEKS and still they haven't contacted me! Obviously I was right, they are run from someone's back bedroom. Shambolic was a good description.

As a side note, I had my van repaired by their local Auto Bodyshop and they are a delight to work with, polite, very professional and helpful in the extreme, I'll do a separate review on them as this review is for Nationwide Repairs (who, strangely, are the exact opposite).

It is terrible to hear that you have received such a bad level of service from us and at this point I can only apologise on behalf of Nationwide for this and the inconvenience you have been caused. We take all feedback very seriously and will be looking in to the matter to establish what went wrong in this case and to ensure we do not repeat these mistakes. From what you have said, the issues you experienced were not with the bodyshop themselves but with our department responsible for organising the repairs. I made, absolutely clearly, the point that my issues were not with any body shop and explicitly gave the URL for Nation Wide Repairs to indicate that Nation Wide Repairs are the company with excruciatingly poor service, now exacerbated by your inability to read a review accurately. What is wrong with you people? No wonder you cannot organise a simple bumper replacement, nobody bothers to read anything. As for the stock responses of 'looking into this matter' and 'get to the bottom of this matter quickly', I'm afraid I won't be holding my breath. Nobody will come back to me and tell me that they have made a series of mistakes, the systems this company uses are shambolic at best or that Mr Employee has had his behind kicked. The best I can hope for is that writing to my insurance company and complaining correctly will cause them to have a look at NCR and perhaps review their systems. I'd also be interested in how much will be charged for this repair, I have my own quotation from a 'proper' garage and I bet it's a whole lot less than this company charges.
