They arranged for my vehicle to be collected and delivered to the Benfleet Branch of Nationwide Crash Repairs. I found that the Bridgend centre was excellent. The staff in reception were polite and very helpful. I was informed on how long the repair would take and what was needed to be done and the duration. Infact the repair was completed two days ahead of schedule.The repair work was first class and the car was returned in pristine condition.I was very pleased with everything and would recommend the Bridgend centre to all. “Excellent Customer Service, communication and repairs”

From start to finish, the quality of customer service given by the Nationwide Crash Repair Centre in Hull was fantastic. I particularly appreciated dealing with the same polite and helpful person each time I contacted them or they contacted me. My car went to them as a result of an insurance claim and was returned to me with all repairs complete and looking immaculate. I would not hesitate to recommend them. (read more)

“Insurance Car Repair and 'additional repair quote'”

The insurance company referred my vehicle to Benfleet who responded promptly, visited to assess the insurance repair damage, and were also happy to quote me for a separate repair to another part of the vehicle and then collected the car on a separate date when parts were in. The quote for my 'personal' repair was very good and they returned the car with both repairs completed in an excellent manner. Just received my car back from nationwide Warwick, after having an accident in it, we are extremely pleased with the work that has been done to it and the customer service was excellent, we were kept fully informed at every stage of the repair and the staff were very helpful. Just had my car repaired by Exeter Nationwide and they were very good - kept in regular contact updating me on car - always phoned back when they said they would - were realistic with completion date - brought work forward to fit in with me as I was going on holiday for a few weeks The accident was a horrible experience but the professional and helpful service at Nationwide was great. I am very happy with the service given by nationwide, they updated me on regular basis on the progress. The repairs on my car took a very long time as the parts they order were hard to get hold of. The plus side was that they gave me really nice courtesy car which was excellent to driver. The service I was given by the lady who phoned me to collect my car was excellent, she arranged the time best suited for me to collect. After my vehicle was damaged my Insurance company arranged for Nationwide crash repairs to collect and repair the damage to my car. I was informed of the progress and the work was completed in 11 days. I am very please with the repair. The courtesy car that was supplied had a faulty fuel gauge so when I tried to replace the fuel it did not register, so I did a second attempt, but still could not get it to register. As this was my first experience dealing with a repair company i was very happy that they kept me informed every step of the way. Friendly service. recently had a wee bump in my car first time ever... called my insurance company who said they would pass my details onto there reccomende repair garage.... 20 mins later I got a call from nationwide Redruth OMG she was friendly and efficient and made everything smooth and easy she arranged collection of my car and delivery of a fab toyota yaris for me to use whilst mine was in for repair. So far Nationwide have had my car for 6 weeks. Each time I ring up there is something different left to do on the car. The refuse to give me a completion date as "they don't like to do that", and there was I thinking I was the customer. They have managed to lose the car keys and have had to get them replaced. Thank you for the prompt response. I'd obvisouly be uncomfortable putting my registration plate on a public forum. I have, though, already emailed your customer liaison department yesterday with those details and as yet have not received a response. Perhaps if someone had responded to that as quickly as you have responded to a public posting we could've had this conversation in private.
The manager at the branch is well aware of my views on the matter and is unable to offer any redress.
Put simply I want my car fixed and returned to me and a response to the points I have raised in my email to you. I am no longer interested in a conversation where someone from your organisation explains the situation. I am sure you can tell me 101 legitimate reasons on your side as to why you have not been able to fix my car. None of which go to resolving my problem or are of any concern to me anymore. As I say, all I would like is my car back and to never have to deal with your organisation again.

I have spoken in length to the manager of our Huddersfield centre. I understand the repairs to your vehicle were extensive and not straight forward. There have been numerous parts delays and we are currently waiting on a part. These delays are totally beyond our control - unfortunately we are at the mercy of our suppliers sometimes. We have been given at date of 14th May for the delivery of the outstanding part but we cannot confirm when the repairs will be completed until we have received the part and are 100% certain that there are no other faults with the vehicle. I understand the manager explained this to you yesterday, however, I have asked him to call you again to go through the reasons for the delays and lack of completion date. We offered you a courtesy car which you declined. If you have since changed your mind, please inform the centre manager when he calls and he will arrange one for you. I understand how frustrating this is for you but please accept that we are trying to ensure your vehicle is returned to you with the highest standard of repairs. We therefore cannot give you a completion date until we have possession of all the parts and are clear that all the faults have or are in the process of being rectified. As regards our customer liaison department not responding - I have chased them up and someone should be calling you soon. Please rest assured that we are doing our best to repair your vehicle as quickly as we possibly can.

It's not about the curtesy car. Its about the lost keys, the constent delays, the changing stories. I have no desire to speak to the manager of the branch. As you point out he is no more in a position to tell me when I'm getting my car than you are.
I disagree with you on the idea that you can't tell me when it's going to be fixed until its fixed. No other industry would work this way. It most definatly would not be acceptable in my industry.
Put simply all I want is for you to fix my car and return it to me ASAP. You are going to have to accept that after six weeks you have a disatisfied customer and no amount of explanations is going to change that.

I have never dealt with a firm before who have got things right from the very start. My car went in for repair and I was contacted at all stages, keeping me informed of any delays, and when I was going to get my car back. These unsolicited contacts and my conversations with several members of the repair centre concerned left me in no doubt that they were well trained. I used Nationwide through my insurance claim and was very impressed with the efficiency of the office staff,mechanics and the recovery driver. Nationwide arranged to meet me on 2 occasions, where my car hire was arranged in order to suit my needs and timescales. Throughout the days my car was in for repair I was kept in the loop of all proceedings and when then deciding to have private work done on my car I was impressed with the low cost and end result. Having had my car for 6 weeks, with little or no feedback i still await the return of my vehicle - the only updates that i had was when i chased them continually. Failed to deliver on promises for having the vehicle ready on 5 seperate dates. I am sure there are going to be plenty of excuses around this but none will get my car back any quicker - very very frustrating - if it werent for the fact that i have to use these through my company then i would never darken their doors again ! We have looked into your complaint regarding the time delays of your repair. Again, please accept our apologies for the frustration and inconvenience. However, there are several reasons for the delays, which were totally beyond our control and which you may not be aware of. Firstly, it was 3 weeks before we received authorisation for the repairs, from your insurance company. The estimate was sent to them the day we received your vehicle but until we receive authorisation from them, we are unable to begin the repairs. We would not have contacted you during this time as there would be nothing to tell you. Secondly, the repairs were extensive, and were estimated to take 15 days. There were also some minor parts delays which again, we cannot control. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone as it was excellent, all my questions got answered. They kept In touch with updating me, and were on time with everything eg, handing my car back. I was very pleased with the over all outcome of my returned car. If ever I have a problem with my car again, I will be sure to use them!! (read more)

I found Nationwide Repair Center very good, they kept me informed as to how things were going. There was no problem with having a courtesy car and when they had the go ahead from the insurance company to do the repairs they then phoned me to say they had started the repairs and my car would be back by a certain day unfortunately that wasn't convenient for me. My car went to the crash repair centre following an accident. The customer service was excellent. I was kept up to date at all stages and always knew exactly where my car was and what was happening. I was directed to this repair centre by my insurers. The last two times I have had to use a repair centre for my wifes car were not pleasant experiences. One was a ten week nightmare, the one before that I had to tell them to put it back on the trailer before it was even fully off. This time thankfully there were absolutely no problems at all. Have received an excellent service from these guys on the two occassions i've been unfortunate enough to have been involved in an accident. On both occassions the centre has been really flexible to meet my needs and availability. The staff there kept me in the loop at every step of the way and updated on the progress of my repair.
