Visited the middlesbrough repair centre recently to have my car repaired, I can't speak more highly of the efficient service i received. The repair only took 4 days to complete and during that time I benefited from a courtesy car. I wright this review to inform anyone wanting repairs to their motor vehicle don't hesitate to choose this repair centre in Middlesbrough. I could not have found such friendly staff who could not have done anymore for me,they kept me informed every two days on what was happening to my car arranged for hire company to pick me up and provide me with another vehicle while mine was being repaired and always with a smile.!!!! Nationwide, remember that name,, collected the car dropped off courtesy car , yes even had fuel in ,, so polite n helpful, was able to track the work they were doin to my car, when completed they called to ask when it was convenient to return car . “Excellent service but....”

My car suffered a wiring fault in the engine bay, resulting in fire damage to some components. As a result it was removed at the request of my Insurance Company (RSA) by Nationwide to their premises in Hunts Cross, Liverpool. Due to mix-ups and misinformation the car remained there for almost three weeks with nothing having been done to it. I must point out that this was in NO WAY the fault of Nationwide. “Try Quality Not Quantity”

Nationwide Warwick recently repaired the rear of my car following an accident. The original estimate of 8 days for repair was way out, the repair took nearly double the amount of time. As for the quality of repair - not impressed, overspray inside tailgate aperature, unsightly visible weld on rear panel, paint chipped on inner face of tailgate, white dust on dashboard, cutting compound visible in most rear shutlines and to top off my old damaged badge just left on the floor of the vehicle. “Frustrating nonfault accident - excellent customer...”

After a stressful non-fault accident the whole process was made much less stressful by the excellent customer service from start to finish. Regular communication throughout as to what was happening and when, staff were all professional and courteous and they did everything they said to a high standard and on time. Can't fault them. The service from this company was excellent kept informed on how the vehicle I had was being repaired and also when the vehicle repair would be finished and the day and time to pick up vehicle upon completion of the repair. When I arrived to pick it up the vehicle had been completed to a very high standard and it had been cleaned inside and out presented excellently. “they fit non-genuine parts for insurance claims!”

I have had nothng but hassle from the minute this company contacted me about a non-fault insurance repair. It took 12 working days to replace a bumper and 2 brackets and when I checked it the bumper didn't fit properly. When I queried this I was told that was because it was a non-genuine part! When I have a car repaired I expect it to be done properly whether or not it is an insurance claim. I think it is very devious to put on non-standard parts without mentioning that to the car owner. I am sorry you have not had a good experience with us and apologise for any inconvenience you have been caused. We would very much like to look into the issues you have raised so we can at least ensure that everything has been completed to your satisfaction. It would make it a lot easier to trace your repairs if we knew your registration number and the centre that you dealt with. If you are not comfortable with putting the whole registration number on here then the last 3 digits will be ok. I have just spoken to the manager of our Birmingham centre and he has explained the situation to me. We were instructed to fit a non-genuine bumper to your vehicle by your insurance company as they would not authorise a genuine bumper due to their policy on fitting genuine parts. You should have been made aware of this by your insurance company. It is the Insurance companies who make the decision as to whether or not genuine parts are fitted, it is not a decision we make as a company. I understand we have already collected your car and have agreed with you to fit a genuine bumper, however, at the moment we have not had any authority from your insurance company for this so it will be at our cost. We acknowledge that the non-genuine bumper was a couple of mm's different to the genuine bumper and therefore did not fit as well which is why we have agreed to do this for you. The manager is hoping to personally deliver your car back to you tonight so he can ensure that you are completely happy with the new bumper, which I am sure you will be. We apologise for any inconvenience, which we have tried to keep to a minimum for you. Thank you.

Recently had a minor bump in my car and my insurer (Hastings Direct) use Nationwide as their repair provider. The collection and drop off at my place of work (a school) was easy and they were able to work around my timetable, which I really appreciated. I had an unfortunate incident with a bus in which the bus came off better and the back of my car was a bit of a mess. My Insurance company sent my car to Nationwide repairs in Edinburgh and I couldn't be happier with the results.
