I recently had my Ford Focus in to repair damage to my nearside passenger door and bumper. I need a car to get around so I asked for a loan car, but it had to be an automatic. No problem, I was lent an automatic Astra whilst my car was in the "shop". When the car was repaired , which was two days earlier than estimated, I received a call telling me the car would be delivered between 0800-1200. Had damage to our 5008 and on delivery to the workshop in Benfleet Essex, i explained that i needed the car back as quickly as possible as we needed the car for hospital visits, and i must say they pulled out all the stops. the repair had a first class finish, ALL the staff were so helpful polite, and humorous i can only say Thanks. I'd had a small bump - a van had reversed into the driver's side causing small dents and scratches to the door and front wing. His insurer, AVIVA, authorised repair at Nationwide. The staff were polite, efficient and professional. the repair was excellent (This is probably now the best feature of my car apart from the low mileage) although it did take 8 days from collection to return. NB On rating below I do not know the cost as it was paid through the other driver's insurance. (read more)

I was referred to Nationwide Cash Repairs by my insurers Aviva, to repair the damage to my vehicle. I was very pleased with the level of courtesy received from their staff. Their dealings with me were professional at all times. The provision of a courtesy car was well handled. I am very pleased with the work they carried out. As soon as my insurance company passed on my details, they rang to arrange for me to drop my car in for it's estimate and repair within two hours of my accident.. I received and brand new courtesy car on arrival and a p need call two days later to be told the level of work required and how long it will take.... Absolutely awful experience if there is anywhere else your considering going go there instead. I was given a completion date that ran over by almost two weeks every time I called to get a possible date they kept telling me the next day. I obviously called each day to see when to pick it up and eventually on the fourth day they changed the reason for the delay to waiting on parts. My car was fixed by benfleet nationwide crash repair centre the team where fantastic I was given a brand new courtesy car to use the process was very quick the car was fixed in a couple of days. The team always rang me to give me regular updates on the progress of my car. My car went to Nationwide following an unfortunate incident with a post... Nationwide are not one of the designated repairers for my insurer (Admiral) which often means extra work on the customer's part but they estimated my car very quickly and had it all agreed with the engineers at Admiral in no time. I have no experience al all of having cars repaired and was expecting all sorts of problems, delays and inconvenience when someone drove into back of my new Audi. I had fantastic customer service from the guys at the Benfleet centre. I spoke to an advisor on the phone to make all the arrangements and she went out of her way to make sure that I had the required automatic curtesy car by the very next morning, she had to make special arrangements to get this for me at short notice. My car was hit by another vehicle in a carpark. No details were left so it was down to me/my insurance. No structural damage to the bumper just removal of paint along one side and the back corner. Car was picked up on a Wednesday and returned at 4pm on the Friday of the following week. (7 Working Days) The damage was repaired ok. Following my accident, Nationwide Crash Repair Centre in Tamworth got intouch with me to repair my car. From the initial contact by phone to taking my car in for assessment and to pick up my courtesy car, the service provided at the Norwich branch was excellent in all respects. The estimator was honest and reassuring and the timescale given - 8 days - was beaten, as my vehicle was ready in 4 days. Following accident car was close to being written off on economic grounds. Car was brilliant and did not want to lose it. Nationwide spent time with me discussing options which resulted in me being able to keep car and get cosmetic repairs done which suited me. Very grateful to them for their time and understanding. Insurers AA/Covea delivered my car to Nationwide following an accident on 2 April. I expected it would take a while due to the extent of the damage but one part - a sill panel - was unavailable for many weeks. Nationwide did keep in touch though, giving me weekly updates about this. I received my vehicle back on 23 May, and although the wait was long, I cannot fault the finished result. I had my doubts about using a non franchised company, i.e. my car is a Vauxhall so should I use a Vauxhall body shop? But my fears were put to rest when I got the car back. The repair is perfect and I had also taken the opportunity to have two alloys refurbished and they are back to day one condition. I am writing this review regarding the appalling customer service and poor workmanship of repair of my vehicle so far from the East Grinstead branch. Tamworth nationwide crash repair were so helpful and quick at repairing my vandalised car. The drivers are very friendly and funny and made me feel at ease in my bad situation. I was given a courtesy car(although it was a bit small) did the job. they rang me every day and left a message to say at what point my car was at like in the spray shop etc. They are overall very friendly, informative and helpful. Nationwide Benfleet were picked as the repairer by my insurance company (Zurich) after an HGV misjudged a gap and hit my car with the trailer. Excellent service from start to finish - I was contacted about 24 hours after reporting the accident, my car was picked up from home within a couple of days and I was provided with a courtesy car while the repair was taking place. very quick response. The serviceman who came out was very friendly, helpful and did an excellent job on my car. He explained what he would be doing and the length of time it would take approximately. after someone decided to bump into back of my car i was incredibly distressed. My insurance company Hastings had passed the details of my accident to Nationwide repairs in Leeds, not a good start as we live near Sheffield.
