Good Points: Cheap, Readily available in surplus shops or internet, hardwearing, does the job.
Bad Points: For me it didnt come with a specific strap for the boot sole.
General comments: I needed some gaitors but didn't have much to spend, a local army surplus store (Denbigh) had many pairs at only 5.00 of which the pair I picked although used were in excellent condition. The fit is good and adjustable and they do a fine job of keeping debris and moisture out of my boots. Being goretex they are quite breathable and their only fault is the bottom strap is made of paracord and I prefer an adjustable strap but I just took the straps off my old gaitors so problem solved. They are in DPM colours but thats fine by me as I hate outdoor clothing in bright colours. I would highly recommend this product.
