    Canterbury Travel's customer service is non existent. They are rude, arrogant and will not accept any criticism. The Santa meeting we experienced was not at all magical and the it was a second rate Santa. Do not waste your money with this company. They say you will be in no doubt you have met the real Santa. Forget it! Our 7 year son who is a complete believer in Father Christmas, elves, fairies etc didn't beleive he was the real one and was really disappointed :-(

    I have been to Lapland before and thought that Luosto with Canterbury Travel would have exceeded my previous visit. After all it cost £1800 more for a family of 4 than I had previously paid with Esprit. (I've heard of inflation, but...)

    Luosto itself is a beautiful area, but so was Saariselka (haven't seen an ugly part of Lapland). However, please note that at feeding time the restaurant is extremely busy and people are treated like cattle. Also took us about 20 minutes to get there, whic ...

    Overcrowding at airport, had to circle around in the air and wait for another plane to leave so we could land. Only 3 hrs there and no one interacted with kids. Santa was a joke. Elf outside didn't even look at my 3 kids never mind joke with them. Food was poor, place was so small no one got a seat together. I COULD go on and on. When I complained I received such a rude letter from them. The worst experience ever!!! I knew another family who were on my flight and they felt the same

    The only request made when booking a year ago was, if you had the choice and it wasn't about price where would you go? On that basis we ended up on the christmas break to Salla.
    Charter flight choices were not in my opinion the best of the best as far as "quality expierience" went and for the money £1300 per day I was not expecting budget airlines. The plane we came back on was 18 years old and there were older planes being used. Flights out were five hours late, maybe not directly operato ...
