I was a devout Dior Show user. I do find this is a darker black, but it's also harder to remove and it smudges (it leaves black lines on the top of my eyelid, which the Dior Show didn't).

Diorshow Black Out is the most expensive mascara I have ever bought. I therefore expected big results and was therefore initially disappointed. It clumped like crazy and I had to wash out an old mascara wand to comb out the excess from each application. However, I got used to it and its appeal is beginning to grow. You do get volume, but not necessarily much extra length, but the big selling point is that it certainly is the blackest mascara I have come across. For that alone, I love it. If you want lush, intensely black lashes, then this delivers.
