Good Points: Generally friendly staff .... when I got through
Bad Points: Getting through on the phone. Some bizarre internal hierarchy which meant the person I spoke to couldn't make any decisions about returns or refunds, regardless of the circumstances.
General comments: Look at the ratings on this site - when they're good, they're good, but when they're bad, they seem absolutely dreadful. Ordered a light in JULY. It arrived, but was the wrong one, so we sent it back - at our expense. We were advised the version we wanted would be available, but in the end we cancelled our order in AUGUST. In SEPTEMBER the light was delivered! We decided that maybe we would keep it after all, but on opening the box it was faulty. We were then told we would have to pay to send it back! Spoke to Trading Standards who said we should not have to pay and finally got Litecraft to collect the light in OCTOBER. It's NOVEMBER and still haven't received our money back yet.

Ordered three light fittings online following emailing a couple of questions which where replied to promptly, did not like the one I ordered for my bathroom so enquired about returning, the returns procedure was simple, sent item back and was issued a refund. I have since purchased a new bathroom light from them after receiving advise from their online assistant very happy with my purchases, all my friends have commented on them! Would defiantly use Litecraft again.

Finally received my order and guess what...some of it is missing...! Also the quality of one item is poor so it needs to go back. I am waiting for someone to call me back...again....! Cant find any good points and I still havent got my complete order

Overall the website is fast and efficient. Little tip pay your local shop a visit massive showrooms friendly and helpful staff, was very impressed overall by liecraft website and shop.

Despite advertising next day delivery I have yet to receive my lights a week after ordering them via the website. Three e-mails and 4 phonecalls later I am still 'in the dark' as to what's happening. 3 times I've been told someone will phone me back and I have never received a return phone call. I keep being told the items will be sent tomorrow so had a week of working from home and not even going out to the garden in case I miss the delivery! I went today to liverpool litecraft, good price, good customer service, good coffee and sweets, I spent 500 pounds on lights, I got a very very good bargain. well done litecraft.
I am satisfied well done, am happy with my lights, you made my day, after looking round other shops you are the best so far on lights. thanks

I picked light craft after being recommended by my mum who had recently bought her dinning room light from the Litecraft store in Oldham. There website had such a wide range, it was difficult to choose, I made my choice and called them to find out the dimensions as they weren't on the website. I bought some Ceiling lights and I needed to know how long the light was before being extended as I have quite a low ceiling, Litecraft told me the spec and even said they could shorten the chain before sending the light out, this was amazing as it also guaranteed me the warranty on the light because I did not have to touch the light myself. Excellent service!

Great selection of product...Litecraft even did me a deal on some lights I found on another site....bought cheaper from Litecraft...the lights look great in my living room, my mum now wants to buy some online, but will probably go to a shop first.
Great selection, good service, will get my bathroom lights from them next month!

Seriously quick delivery from Litecraft, web site was very simple to use, and helpful. gave us a few ideas beyond what we'd thought we wanted. Lights were lovely, better than expected actually and looked perfect for the spot we'd bought them for. Customer service was excellent, couldn't fault the speed in which they helped.
Overall a very good experience. we live close to one of their stores but didn't have time to travel, so took a chance on their web which saved us a pile of time. excellent ...

We returned a faulty fan at our cost £12.40 on the promise that the fan would be tested and if faulty a replacement sent and our money refunded, if not faulty they would return the original fan.
After 14 days and many chasing's they finally forwarded a replacement fan.
When we asked for the return postage they said the original was not faulty.

Excellent choice of products, we ordered the item and it arrived next day, it was a delicate light and we were concerned about the post, but when it arrived it was in first class condition, and well packaged.

This is without question the most appalling customer service I have experienced. Ordered products arrived too late so were returned via THEIR courier which they stated they had no record of. Took me 6 months and countless telephone calls to get a refund.

Ordered three different lights, two of which were OK.
The third was a pair of table lamps that didn't work. Returned these which at first Litecraft said they hadn't received. They said they wouldn't have any more for another three months. It took another two weeks to get some of my money back, minus registered postage costs which they said they would pay. Five weeks on I'm still chasing them for a refund.

Among the most atrocious post-sales customer response I have ever experienced. Ordered products in November - not suitable so asked that LiteCraft arrange for return/collection of items under their terms and conditions of sale. Now it's the 23rd Jan and I'm still waiting for a resolution. I have sent numerous e-mails and all but one have been completely ignored. Litecraft took extra money, sent one lamp then sent a second more expensive un-ordered lamp and took money from account.
Never replied to my emails. Won't repay money, ignoring me, when go to sales 20 minutes to answer phone then hang up when i ask about the order, first time even blamed Amazon.

We ordered one lamp - 2 were delivered and left with neighbours on 2 separate occasions. We contact the company to report this as 2 payments were also taken from our account. This was Nov 2007 - it is now 11th Jan 2008 and numerous emails later and one unsuccessful phone call (we waited for 20mins for the phone to even be answered) we still have 2 lamps and have not received a refund. They have apologised and blamed Amazon (it was through Amazons site) but done NOTHING. I want my money back not ...

I ordered three lights for my bedroom for around 150 pounds on the 4th December. It was around the 15th when I decided to call to see what had happened to the lights. Now, looking back, I'm amazed someone actually picked up the phone and even called me back with the information needed.
