We have just discovered the shop in liverpool and we are glad we have! Bought a fab huge lamp for a fraction of the price in a big high street store...very pleased! Also bought 2 lamps for bedroom. The choice was fantastic and the staff were great. They didnt pester us or follow us around...which we hate in shops. The lamps were all great and we couldnt choose! We will definately return. Excellent product that does exactly what it says on the tin. Very easy to fit (9 in 2 hours), once I resolved the ambiguous and confusing instructions on fitting the springs. Worth pointing out that the item contains fittings for both 240v GU10 bulbs and 12V MR16 bulbs, which is not clear from item website. If the ceiling is uneven, e.g. Artex, light will seep out around the outer rim. I resolved this by applying a bead of bathroom sealant inside the outer rim, which then sealed fitting... (read more)

Bought some lights last November only to find the glass shade from one of them on the floor, it had literally broke in half ( not hit by the way) I had lost my receipt as it was 6 months since purchase and had resigned myself to paying for a replacement. Ordered 2 celling fans, read the terms and conditions, commissioned an electrician to install them (as they insisted) and after fitting one tried it and found it to be so noisy and wobbly that there was no way you could sleep in the same room. Had to pay the electrician to remove it and fit the identical fan (Arizona) that is over 14 years old but still better than the new ones. Got a refund of the purchase price but still left or £90 out of pocket on account of the company. (read more)

Bought yet another light fitting from Litecraft. This one seemed to be all ok after checking contents of box but on installation became apparent that 2 small brass wire hooks were missing. Emailed asking for replacements to be sent, had reply in the affirmative the next day, and the replacements arrived in the post ahead of schedule 2 days later. I bought a light which came in a tatty open box with no instructions. i spent £300 on an experienced electrician trying to get it working. It was clearly faulty so I returned it but They now ignore my calls and emails after trying for several weeks and they appear to have kept the light and my money! I did an order on 25th August to Litecraft in their website. Next day I change mind and called then to cancel the order. The staff said me the item was already dispatched, so just refuse the delivery. It was done by me. After sent several emails requesting the refund the unique reply is "the refund was passed to the refund department and we will confirm on e-mail as soon as the refund is processed". Very poor communication. Hopeless on telephone when I called wanting an update on delivery (4 months after order placed). service was terrible and dishonest. Lied to on the phone time and time again. Finally got refund after having to beg. I emailed litecraft to say I was going to leave feed back on websites but again they ignored me. Ordered 4 expensive LED wall lights. These arrived a week later than promised but I didn't have a big problem with that. What I did have a problem with was that despite initial delivery inspection seeming ok, when I got them out to install, all 4 were broken (and I was showered with glass in the process). Litecraft refused a refund as I had signed on delivery as ok. They eventually said that if I posted them back at my own cost they would "make an inspection". Sent them back, never got any... Cancelled order immediately. Still waiting for payment refund after months of phoning & e mailing.
My credit card company has now taken over to try to get payment back.

We recived Twiggy lights a couple of days after order back in January 2010. We didn't attempt to fit the lights until last week as set some time aside to carry out renovations and redecoration to our living room which we duly completed last week.
Upon fitting one of the Twiggy 18 ceiling lights it was noted by our electrician that the LV Transformer was faulty.

I had exactly the same problem, bought the lights online, booked an electrician only to get a letter several days later saying the item was held for security reasons. Had to cancel the order and run to my nearest diy shop to get a equivalent replacement as it was too short notice to cancel the electrician. I'm still waiting for the refund 30 days later, luckily I payed with Paypal and I've raised a dispute.
