I ordered 2 light fttings online in April. They arrived in August, one was faulty the other was damaged. I returned them as requested by Litecraft in August and asked for a refund. It is now 21 Nov and I am still waiting. The contact with Litecraft was ok at first, until started pushing for my money back. I have phoned, sent numerous e-mails and sent 2 formal complaints to Geoff Filson by recordrd delivery. I have not even receievd the courtesy of a reply. I have advised my intention to take legal action and I will do it. I'll let you know what happens. The fittings were nice and value for money. I agree with others that their after sales and communication is apalling.

I just read a previous review about Litecraft and its remarkable how similar the appalling experience is that so many customers are getting from this company.

I visited the Oldham store in May 2009 and ordered a number of different lights costing almost £300. We received excellent service that day and felt very looked after, however it has been evident since then that Litecraft only care about you at the stage when they don't have your money. Litecraft Manchester

I have never regretted walking into any shop as much as Litecraft Manchester.
The manager lied and was tyrant to his young inexperienced and harassed staff.
Week 1.
On selecting three fittings from the display I expected to pay for them there and then and take them with me.
"Out of stock". Ok that can happen. The staff assured me they would be delivered within three or four days and as my purchase was well over the £150.00 free delivery limit there would be no charge ...

Could not agree with 'annoyed Phil' any more.

Litecraft should be reported to watchdog as they are the most unproffesional outfit and have the wrst customer service ever received.

the manager John personally promised me a light as an apology for 5 week delay and that was a month ago.
41 phone calls and he clearly has his staff lying on his behalf for him.
awful awful company.
the head office never responds.

still waiting after two months.
rang store over thirty times and noone calls back.
they promise to send goods and have not done so
the worst customer service i have ever encountered.
they seemed trained to take your money and fob people off when it comes to delivery.
shockingly untruthful service . there are clearly some kind comments but i am a real customer and an honest one.
dont shop at litecraft.

I visited the Lightcraft Store in Liverpool, I have never seen so many lights in one place. I was made very welcome and left to browse with a cup of coffee i was given by a member of staff, all the staff where so helpfull and all smiling and pleasent. I only went to the store for a cheap light for my bathroom. I was greeted by the salesman who was very attentive and asked me questions to ensure they found the right light for me.I was given coffee and was not rushed in my decision.
The staff were knowledgable and very friendly. I felt at ease and was very happy with the advice given to me.

excellent. i visited the store in liverpool saturday. ordered some lights and to my surprise, i got a phone call to day to tell me my lights was in store ready to be picked up. staff was so helpfull and really went out their way to help me pick my lights, as there was so many to pick from. hey i even got a coffee as i looked around. will be going back soon to do the rest of house. guys thanks for your friendly staff and my great deal :)n

Bought a large chandelier and expected to recieve a few broken crystals but to my surprise it arrived flawless due to the exceptional packaging. Originally viewed it on their extensive website but I eventually bought it locally from their new store in Manchester City Centre where i found the staff to be helpful and pleasant at all times. They even did me an extra discount at the checkout and then added the 16 light bulbs free of charge!!!Will be returning to them before christmas to see the new ...

great, friendly and knowledgable staff in the Cardiff Store.
I was offered a warm welcome, coffee and sweets. A fab experience.
great looking store with great prices.

i have never written a review before but then again I had never been to litecraft in manchester. An what an experience that was.
If you want to order a product and be told it would be a week and want to wait 6 weeks then This is the place to come to.
If you have the time to ring weekly for an update and be told different delivery dates and be fobbed off.- this is the store

Ordered and paid for candle lamp shades on line. Website stated next day delivery. Goods not delivered and on enquiring, was told they had no stock but would maybe get some from China in 3 months! Checked website again day after. Shades still offered for sale next day delivery! Cancelled order 4 weeks ago and still waiting for refund. No reply to my follow up email. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to order online from them, or pay for goods not in stock.

Dreadfull customer service and a complete nightmare to get hold of. I waited two months for my order and was told different stories by various members of staff. They're site isn't bad and I did get what I ordered in the end but I could've done without the hassle. I will think twice before using them again. RachelP Stroud

ordered lights online with Litecraft which were said to be in stock. After I had ordered & paid I was told they would not be in stock for 2 months. Litecraft said they would refund me straight away. I am still waiting for my refund after 2 months & numerous e mails & phone calls.

The lamp arrived on time but it was damaged. I tried to telephone LiteCraft in Oldham 12 times but couldn't get through. I left a message but have not had a response. I sent an email and they have asked me to take the lamp back to Chadderton in Oldham for a refund. If I had the time to go to Oldham, I wouldn't have ordered on line in the first place. Damaged goods and very poor service. I will never order from them again.

I visited the litecraft store on Sat 8/8/09. I paid cash for a ceiling light and 2 wall lights. I left with the ceiling light but was assured that there were over 90 wall lights in stock, and 2 of these would be in the Gorse Mill store by the following day. As I live over 30 miles from the store I left it until the following weekend to collect the lights. Your service when I have used litecraft has been excellent! I must admit that I am not a regular customer as I ordered a fantastic light when I moved house. Unfortunately I have not needed any more. Your service was excellent, the website was helpful giving clear information and the delivery was extremely quick. "We have an apartment in Cyprus and wanted ceiling fans, as the cost of fans in Cyprus was expensive we looked at your website and brought three fans at under £30.00 each. They are now installed, work very well, and look fantastic. I had some shades broken on arrival, but they were replaced with no problem. The service and delivery was top class, and the price was a complete bonus. I would recommend you to my friends with no problem at all. Well done Litecraft"
