    I found Interactive Investor fustrating to say the least. And I've not even used their service yet!! Their login system would not let me in despite having access to their outer iii website. For some reason, they have 1 login for the main site, and then another for the share-dealing service. However both have different username and passwords?!? Once in a while I'll try to login and I get rejected.

    I'll be looking for a much better and more user friendly service.

    Not for the first time anticipated a movement in shares but couldn't get a deal with Interactive Investor losing me a 5% gain in 10 minutes.. If you have a long term purchase it might be OK, but don't try and trade in an active (or falling) market - I received no service.

    Interactive Investor Account opening took over 7 days. Had to re-register 5 times, customer service could not find my details despite speaking to several unhelpful staff, ID required (due to money laundering and criminal record checking) but which time I didn't bother continuing with opening the a/c, I took my business elsewhere!

    Interactive Investor must be without a doubt worst sharedealing service available on the market today, if you want to buy and sell shares you would be better off investing in a fast car.

    I only have a first degree in mathematics so the previous reviewer was right, I couldn't crack the Interactive Investor log in system. After three days and several phone calls I am still not through the second stage of the registration process. Finally this evening I was told that it's not just me, others are having the system refuse their registration - why couldn't I have been told that there was a problem affecting many people when I first called for help? Instead I was told I would get a cal ...

    Terrible site design and quite user-unfriendly. Requires 2 login accounts (1 for portfolio, 1 for share dealing). The portfolio grid is too busy. Some of the design decisions are terrible, for instance, it's not clear what the default button is when one presses enter in a text-box. I've just notice too that the 'back buttons' have a little icon pointing forward!
    Low commission, but a very fussy and busy user experience. They should take a good look at the simplicity of Google Finance.

    The Interactive Investor Website (www.iii.co.uk) is the worst piece of site design I've ever seen. I find the double login system with it's vast arrays of passwords is completely impenetrable. I went in to the main site, then I created an entirely separate login for the share dealing area.I work in IT and I cannot get to the share dealing part of the site reliably in under an hour - and thats with telephone support. It's closed now for the Christmas holidays and until they all come back from the ...
