I had a great day with my boyfriend (who I had to drag in kicking and screaming by the way as this is not his kind of thing on any level) in the Newcastle branch. I thought the salon was lovely and it was really clean and all of the staff were really friendly. Courtney met us for our appointment and was really helpful, got us drinks and helped me keep my man from legging it! As well as telling us exactly what to expect that really put us both at ease. We got our hair done first off and we were both really happy with our cuts, I was offered colour that looking back I wish I had taken but at the time I was still feeling a little bit bashful. Mark looked really handsome and smart and even let Judith put a little bit of foundation on him to even out his complexion and will certainly kill me if he finds out I have written about that. I loved my make up and got some great hints and advice about how to make a bit more out of myself and I was amazed how glamorous I could look. I had my nails filed and colored and then we got changed into our first set out clothes our hair then got touched up again and we had a bit of breathing space before Tanya got us in front of the camera, we were both really nervous and lets face it who wouldn't be but Tanya was great, she was really good fun and got us really into the swing of things and even Mark had to admit that he was really starting to enjoy himself. I was feeling like a film star and wished it could have gone on and on and on! Anyway, we had some bucks fizz and waited for our photographs, and I was astounded both with how great they turned out and at the price but I felt no pressure to buy more than we could afford, well we did actually spend more than we can afford but we loved the pictures so much and we just cant stop looking at them. We have had some framed and put them around the house and everybody has commented on them. I think it gives you a real boost to have a make over, I know I am making more of an effort with myself now and Mark is loving it. I think it's a great experience for couples, it put a bit of spark back in our relationship and if you can get your man to go with you then do it, its great. I have read a lot of negative comments about this company but I have to say that I don't have a single negative thing to say about them; perhaps other people just caught them on a bad day!
    My opinion, it was wicked!

I also had a great day and a great experience with New ID Birmingham. My best mate got me a voucher from Buy a Gift, I still had to put down a deposit but it was explained to me that what ever I put down would be matched by the studio when used to purchase the pictures so basically you got twice as much as you pay for. I found all of the team to be really friendly and helpful. I loved my hair do and it was done before my make up and then touched up again afterwards directly before the photo shoo ...

My sister booked the deluxe makeover at New ID Burlingtons for herself, her best friend and me and we went to the Manchester studio yesterday. It started off very well with the receptionist offering us drinks, but went downhill from there. Our shoot @10.am started slightly late and we were the last ones to leave at 5.00pm in the evening - I couldn't believe the amount of time it had taken and most of it consisted of waiting for something. We didn't bring any snacks or have lunch (we were told th ...

Had a brilliant day out with my boyfriend in New ID Burlingtons, Manchester, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. I loved my make-up and my stylist did a fab job of my hair. My boyfriend too was pleased with his haircut. Couldn't fault the day atall it was just difficult choosing the best photos, we wanted them all! We have already got them and its only been 6 weeks although delivery time states 7-8. I have recommended it to all my friends and family.

Just got back from a day at the Id experience in Manchester. Really enjoyed the day, didn't have to wait around much which was good. The hair and makeup was good, didn't think much of the hand treatment though.
Photographer was really nice and so was the guy showing us our pictures.
Overall i would say its a good day out and it was a laugh....but, you better make sure you have some money saved up because it isn't cheap!
After seeing our pictures and wanting a few edits on them, we found out it w ...

HONEST REVIEW:NEW-ID studios Manchester King street
To start off, myself and my sister are not the types to get easily impatient but when our 6 hour day (ID studios state it lasts a maximum of 6 hours) turned into a 9 hour day of being rushed around, messed around and made to feel miserable, it wasn't all that great!
The staff I must admit were lovely- I couldn't really fault the receptionists and they seemed more than happy to provide us with drinks at different intervals during the 9 hour day. ...

I bought this experience for two at New ID Burlingtons Manchester as a Christmas present for my stepdaughter and took her and her friend to Manchester after their GCSE exams finished in June. The girls adored being pampered, loved their new hair and felt a million dollars in the make-up. If we'd left then, they'd have looked back on it as a really fab day. Unfortunately, that's where it all went wrong - we hung around for ages and ages before the pics were taken and it was a good job I'd taken s ...

New ID Burlingtons was 'OK'. Dont pay extra for refreshments, just buy your own drinks and bring them. Had to wait 35mins just for someone to see me. Enjoyed the photoshoot session but its very exspensive to buy additional pics.

Fabulous day out at New ID Manchester. Great photographer who was very professional and made you feel comfortable in the different poses and sets.
We had the experience with Tesco clubcard vouchers with photoshoot and 5 images of choice on CD and 5 A4 prints included. When booked we paid a £200 rollover fee which they matched meaning we had £400 to spend on extra prints.
When it came to viewing and choosing the images they were not pushy and was given a great deal. Usually all i ...

They make it sound like you get a lot more than you actually do. The make-up was done very well. They gave me a price list showing the cost of the make-up. If I had bought everything on the list it would have come to just short of £179. The 'hand massage' they promised was a quick rub of some cream on the backs of your hands. The nail polish applied began to chip away after only a few hours. The hair styling was very basic as they would not trim or colour unless I paid additional money. I ...

I went to the Manchester New ID studio, and had a fantastic but long day. We were greeted with friendly staff and offered drinks straight away. Then the hair stylist, who was very friendly, talked to us about what he is going to do and made it very clear. We then had our make up and nails done which was done very professionally. We had to wait around a bit before we had the actual photoshoot, but we had drinks served throughout the day. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We waited about a ...

i had one done in Newcastle, and they burnt my hair.
i have paid £50 and spent a total of 14 hours in the salon, resulting in ruined hair, no manicure, awful makeup and no photos, i have got nothing out of it
They lost our photos so we didnt even get to view them and now they wont refund us the money we paid for the 'experience'
