I paid through groupon for my mother and mother in law to have the makeover and photoshoot. They loved every second and paid £50 each for 5 pictures. We thought that was reasonable considering the pictures were fab.

I have to hand it to New ID they certainly do exactly what they say they are going to do and give you a glimpse of just how incredible to you can look. I do not wear a lot of makeup, in fact I wear hardly any so I guess it was never going to be that hard to make me look completely different but I never expected that I could look that incredible even with a great new hair style and some professionally applied makeup. The whole experience of New ID was really thrilling and the time that each and every member of staff took to make sure that I was getting was really reassuring and very considerate when you think that on the day that I was there they did not have an empty seat in the house. I did have a few delays between treatments but it did not bother me in the least, far from it, there was so much going on and so much to look at you would never be bored so don’t even believe that, I have read about that on a few reviews and to me part of the fun being there is not only watching your own transformation but all of the others going on as well. The prints are not cheap but I personally think they are more than worth what you pay for them and feel more than happy to recommend this company. Its top rate.

I took my daughter to have makeover out of desperation at her making no effort to look nice what so ever, I am not sure what is up with kids these days they either look like tarts or lads that don’t care. I promised her a new outfit and I knew of course that there would be a battle on my hands when I want to buy her something feminine so that was a bit of a trial and taking a daughter mother row into a salon was not on my agenda so I let her chose her own outfit that was not actually too bad. So the big day comes and off we go, I felt very sorry for the New ID staff when I saw the lack of interest on the face and the long lank hair that hangs in rats tails around her face, I thought wow if you can get this one looking like a model then I will pay double! It stated quite clearly on the information that came with the voucher that there were to be no spectators but in actual fact they seemed pretty happy for me to stick around and it was superb to see the makeover going on before my eyes. My daughter had very little input other than don’t chop too much off her hair, but they did a lovely job of putting some shape into it and I don’t think she could quite believe how lovely she looked in the makeup that they put on for her. She went off into the photo room and came out looking radiant. We had a break for half an hour and then we saw the pictures that were stunning. We brought four of the pictures and got one free and do you know what, my dowdy daughter now wears a bit of make up, does her hair and on occasion looks like a lady all thanks to New ID

If you, like me, have been onto the New ID website and thought how cheap the deals are and then balked at the price of the prints and thought no way, do not leave the site. If you go onto the individual makeover page you will find a link that takes you to a page that tells you about putting the money you want to spend on your pictures in deposit with them before you go and if you do that they match the amount and this makes the prints at New ID far more affordable. I has such a great time at the salon and even though I was not sure how great the prints were going to be, even after reading such great reports about them I was still unsure that they money I put down and what they added to it was going to spend wisely but it was, I am so glad that I did that deal otherwise I would not have been able to buy the amount of prints that I did. I think that they should put this one the front page of the website because I am sure it would encourage more people to go as the cost of the pictures without this deal would be enough to put anybody off!

Totally loved New ID, had the most amazing time there, did not want to leave and was almost forcibly removed from the photoshoot because I was having so much fun I was pretty determined not to leave! The shoot was incredible. I was really shy to start out but I soon got over that. The very sweet young photographer who looked like she would not say boo to a goose took me in hand and got me doing some really cool poses, she really took control of the situation and I felt totally comfortable and at ease with her. She had the most amazing way about her and is clearly a phenomenal photographer. I don’t care how cheesy this sounds, I had tears in my eyes the whole way through my viewing session and am so grateful to the New ID team for taking so much time over my hair and my makeup and for listening to what I said and what I wanted and creating the perfect look for me. This was a really awesome experience that resulted in some really awesome shots, great stuff. The booking was very easy, booked online, and got a voucher, phoned to book and that was that, all very straight forward and problem free!

New ID certainly did the trick for me. I wanted a new hair style after sporting the same one for about twenty years, I really thought that it was about time for a change. My regular hairdresser has just moved to Germany so I was high and dry wondering who to trust with my long locks. A friend of a friend had been to New ID for a makeover and her hair looked amazing so I decided that rather than just get a new look for my bonce I would go the whole hog and find out about how to get a whole new look with makeup and round it off with a photoshoot. Feeing rather nervous I turned up at the salon with a few pictures of hair styles that I liked. The lovely consultant went through them with me and told me honestly which ones would suit me and which ones they would genuinely be able to achieve. I loved the honestly and felt that I was in very good hands, which it turned out that I was because my now, considerably shorter hair, looks fantastic and is now in a style that takes virtually no looking after at all. The makeup was just as good and now I know how to make my ‘rather impressive’ cheek bones really stand out and how to make my rather thin lips look lush and plump. I was feeling so happy with my New ID that I forgot all about being nervous in the photoshoot and loved every minute of it. I think that this experience has given me a lot of confidence in myself and I am so glad that I went, not just for the amazing photos but for the great new feeling that I have about myself.

I got a voucher from a friend for New ID. I was not that keen to go as I look dreadful in pictures normally, I am not a fan of being in front of a camera and I don’t really like using anybody to have my hair done as my sister is a stylist and she does it for me. So this is where my big thanks to this site comes in because I had a look online for reviews, found this page and thought it sounded great, its amazing to see how many people have given this place five stars and I am proud to be the next one to do it. Everything is good about New ID but it is the staff that shine here, they are so sweet and so much fun and have so much energy and enthusiasm it really makes the experience special. I will say that I was a bit put off by the price of the prints. They are not cheap and it is no cheaper if you get them put on CD but you do get one free and you don’t get pushed into buying them so don’t let this put you off, I am glad that it did not put me off. The hair and makeup were both pretty amazing and when you consider how cheap it is to go, fifty pounds on the voucher I got given, then its worth it just for the hair cut and makeup. Another five stars from me, I am a New ID fan now for sure!

I thought New ID was really very good value even though my initial thoughts were that the pictures were very expensive at the end of it. I went along because mainly because my daughter asked me to go with her after her friend backed out of going. She wouldn’t take any money off me for the voucher, it was only later on that I found out that she got it on a two for one deal and it was only fifty pounds in the first place. When you think of everything that goes into the makeover and the amount of shots that they take for you to chose from I am amazed to find that anybody on the reviews site moans that it is expensive. The other gripe that I have read about is that they push you into buying the shots. Well I would like to say that there was none of that when I was there and they were all very friendly and polite and not in the least bit pushy. The makeup was very lovely and had some serious staying power, I had my makeup put on at 10am and it still looked good at 10pm when I took it off, I thought that it might not come off as it stayed on so long but it came off very easily. I was not as impressed with the hair cut as I have been in other places but it was still very nice. The pictures are due to arrive sometime within the next eight weeks, I did ask why it takes so long but that was about the only question that they could not answer other than that it was all perfect.

I took part in one of New ID Makeover Studio makeovers and very much enjoyed it. I went alogn with my son and my daughter for a family photo shoot and they also very much enjoyed it. I was impressed with the way the staff handled my kids, they were very kind to them and kept them entertained while I had my hair and makeup done and the photographer was fantastic with them. He got them smiling and having a fun. They are only four and five years old and not terribly outgoing and I thought that the photographer captured the essence of who they are very well I the pictures. we took along a few of their favorite toys to have some shots with but as they gained confidence they were quite happy to pose alone and we also had some really wonderful shots together. Once again the staff did a great job of taking care of them while I had some portrait shots done that were also pretty outstanding. I was a bit unsure of taking my kids to this kind of experience as it is one of those things they may have hated and ruined it for me, not to mention the other customers that were in there but thanks to some really amazing staff we all had a really fantastic time. Any mothers out there that want some really cool pictures of their kids this is certainly the place to go.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few hours in New ID having the Celebrity hair styling and make-up photoshoot. The best part about it for me was the amazing makeup, the CID cosmetics are incredible. I loved the way they did my hair as well it complimented the makeup and the outfits perfectly. I had my picture taken in four different outfits and they had lots of different backgrounds and props to use so each picture was different that made a great selection but it was really hard to chose which ones to have because they were all so good and I have never been able to say that about pictures of me before. I normally look horrible in pictures. I thought I would be really shy in front of the camera but the lady that took my shots made it really easy and I did not feel at all embarrassed. They make it all very easy for you. The only down side to the whole experience is that it takes a couple of months to go the prints sent to you, I had hoped there would be some way that I could take them with me on the day but that is not how it works but other than that I thought the whole thing was very enjoyable and worth going back and doing again without a doubt.

Wonderful, amazing and totally incredible are the words that I will use to describe New ID and there amazing makeovers that do more for your self confidence than anything else I can possibly think of. This experience did so much for me, for me it was way more than getting a new hair style and having a professional slap on some makeup for me. As the website says it really does give you a glimpse of how great you can look and I had gotten well out of the habit of making any effort at all with my hair and makeup and this was the jumpstart that I needed to get some new cosmetics from New ID and chuck out the old rubbish that was clattering about in my makeup bag and really get back into looking and feeling great. The day started at 11am and was done by 3pm. During that time I had the most amazing moisturizing treatment, then I had hair and makeup done, both to perfection I might add and then got to have the most amazing fun having my pictures taken and I had more confidence in that studio than I ever imagined possible. The shots were just fabulous and well worth the hour wait to see them, choosing was heart wrenching as I wanted all of them and the end result was incredible, I got some amazing shots on CD which I am going to use to use as a fishing rod for some serious online dating!

I thought the staff at New ID were totally inspirational. I had no intention of going wild on hair and makeup. The voucher I had was a gift and one that I didn’t even really want if truth be known but when I got there I totally changed my mind and pretty much as soon as I got in as well. The awesome atmosphere and music in the salon got me going and the staff were hip and trendy and ultra good fun and the others that were there having their makeup done as well seemed to be really enjoying it and I guess that all rubbed off on me. I started to feel bad that I didn’t really want to go in the first place. The friend that gave it to me had been given voucher for a gift by a friend and had the same feelings but she came away raving about it and that is why she got me a voucher. I loved every second of being at New ID the makeup and hair were totally awesome and I really pushed the boat out for my new look, I let them just go wild on me and it really worked out and the whole time they were doing it I felt great, it actually felt nice to let somebody else take a good long look at me and say hey you know what, this hair and this makeup would really suit you and it did. Great experience, great salon, seriously great prints and the only bad thing was for the photos, seriously big price, but worth it though!

I had no clue what to expect from New ID.I had not been able to play the videos on my laptop before I went, the ones on the New ID site that is, so I had no clue what to expect but I have since got them to load and I think they give a really good representation of what it is like there if you are unsure, you really need to watch them. If you are even remotely into hair and makeup you are going to love this experience. I chose to go because basically I thought it was time to throw off my tom boy image and find a way to look a bit more feminine and this really did the trick. I was quite surprised to find out how cheap the New ID cosmetics are and they are really great to use and last for ages and good quality. My makeup box contained only eye liner before to be honest now I have a full range of makeup and know just how to use it thanks to the delightful makeup lady that was only too happy to spend some time giving me a bit of a crash course. I think she felt sorry for me that at twenty four I had no idea what to put where! The photo session was totally amazing. I expected to feel really nervous but felt great and really loved it. I only could afford to buy six prints but loved just about every picture they took. I had a really good time at New ID and would like to recommend it.

I was pretty impressed with my makeover at New ID, I have to admit that I have never actually worn quite that much makeup before and was pretty horrified when they just kept slapping it on but as they promised it looked really amazing in the pictures and I would not have had it any other way even though I had to take it off before I left the salon and I was looking forward to wearing it on my big night out that took place pretty much straight after I left the salon. Thankfully the makeup lady had just finished doing another client when I left and had time to tart me up a little bit before I left the salon. The hair styling they did for me stayed, it look really amazing and I have never seen my hair quite so volumized and you could not even really tell that it was full of moose an hair spray. I thought all of the staff were terrific and worked very well together and pulled of a really good makeover. It would have been nice to have a changing room for the costume changes rather than the photographer just leaving the room but other than that I didn’t really have any complaint. I thought the prices of the prints was actually pretty reasonable even though a lot of what I have read online points to them being very expensive. I would be more than happy to recommend New ID.

I thought that the makeover I got from New ID was pretty impressive! Starting at the beginning, I found the site online after a friend told me about it. Just loved the site and really loved the little videos that I found very inspirational. Found the terms and conditions and thought that was all fair enough so I went ahead and got the Deluxe voucher that turned up two days later. I got told on the phone by the woman on customers service to try to go in the week to avoid the delays they get at the weekend so I took her advice and booked a Tuesday appointment. Got there at ten and filled in the paperwork before having a chat with an older lady who was just great at helping me to chose my new look. She was really good at suggesting hair styles, I had no idea what I wanted I just knew that I wanted a change. Found a great style in a magazine and found a picture of exactly how I wanted to do my makeup, I had no idea what I wanted. The hair and makeup I got were magical, I love my new hairstyle and I was surprised just how much confidence this makeover gave me. The photoshoot is so easy when you have the confidence you need to be in front of those bright lights and they gave me all the confidence I needed. The pictures were amazing and I have to admit I spent a lot more than I anticipated. I had no messing about time really so was glad that I chose a weekday. I don’t know what kind of delay you get on the weekend but for me it was done and dusted in three wonderful hours that I will always look back on fondly.

I found this page when I was looking for something else and I have really enjoyed reading all of the reviews and thought that on the strength of such good experiences that have been well documented here I would go along and try this experience out for myself. I spoke to a friend that had done it and she said that she had found a cheaper deal than the one that New ID were offering on an experience booking site but I was unable to get a better deal than the one that I got direct off the New ID website that was only twenty five pounds. I thought that was a bit of a steel so snapped the offer up. The next thing I know I am going through my rather extensive wardrobe trying to choose what to wear. I found an evening dress that I had not worn in while that is very bright purple. I thought that this would look great on the shots. I then decided to go for two other outfits in a similar colour as you only have one makeup session so I wanted it to match with all of the outfits. I had such great time at New ID. The staff were wonderful and matched my outfits and makeup to perfection. I only had dry hair styling but they made my hair look fuller than I have ever seen it and I can only imagine how great it would have looked if they had cut it as well. I will be going back for a haircut next month. The photos came out really amazingly and I spent a fortune on them even though I told myself I would not. This was nothing to do with hard sell, more my own vanity and greed! I think New ID offer a really great service and I was happy with every aspect of it.

I just went up to see my sister in London last week and we had a makeover experience with New ID that was really wonderful. She has only just moved to London and I can’t remember the last time that I was there so the map on the New ID website came in very handy. I have read a lot of reports on New ID and how it has changed women’s lives and seems to really help people that are feeling down about themselves and I have to admit there is nothing better than seeing yourself looking really good in a picture. so when my sister broke up with her husband and moved away I thought it would be a really nice thing to do to pop up and see her and do this makeover with her and see if I could not find that new boost that everybody talks about and you know what it worked wonders. We both looked incredible in the pictures but Sara looked especially incredible and you could see how much confidence she got from it. I think this is a wonderful experience whether you need a pick me up or not but it really does the trick if you are feeling low. I think she might even send him the small picture she got for free, just to show him what he has missed out on. The staff at New ID were really great and made sure that we had a really good time, there was no hard sales it was just really nicely done and everybody was lovely with us and we would go again for sure and now want to recommend New ID to everybody, whether you need a boost or not you are sure to get one with this experience.
