Good Points: So far it seems sports/water proof.

Bad Points: Quality of some of the pictures poor.

General comments: Overall OK but I would think twice next time. The camera itself seems OK and is waterproof and quite robust. Been using it underwater a bit, the only problem seems to be actually viewing the screen before taking the picture, so I've gone for the point and press and sort the good from the bad later. The firework setting is really good and gives some great images, but the other dark settings leave a lot to be desired. The flash is only useful on close objects so after about 15' there is a timing issue so you don't get the picture taken when the flash hits. For dark pictures the only one I found to work well is the use available light setting but you need to keep the camera very still for this to work (i would have liked a tripod but had to settle for resting against something) otherwise the image is blurred. The battery doesn't work well in hot climate (Florida 90deg) so was glad I had a spare, only lasted about 40 shots on a good day. The multishot function also isn't too useful as the shutter speed seems to be quite slow so you get a sequence of blurred images to look at. I did find it good that it was robust and waterproof and wasn't worried taking it on water rides and under water or on the roller coasters where it got knocked around a bit. The only problem I found once was that it came up with an error reading the flash card, I had to take the battery out to reset and it started working again OK. Once it has been wet it is well worth wiping the lens after it had dried as a couple of my photos have a blurred spot from the dried water.

I am now on my 2nd camera. The 1st had 2 issues. 1 Night time flash photographs were terrible. The camera suffered internal light leakage between the flash and the lens.2 The camera leaked when immersed in water. The replacement camera has the same internal light leakage problem which has not been fixed when returned under warranty. (based on my experience I would expect all production to have the same light leakage issue).Products of this quality should not be released to the public. ...
