    Bad Points:

General comments: Istanbul Sultanahmetsuites is a long distance and a big hill from Sultanahmet, location is hard to find and pretty scary. There is no lift, no bellboy. Only stairs. No daily cleaning of rooms, including the toilets. It seems that everything breaks down. Heaters, television, internet, you name it and not mended. No view from the room just neighbors' apartment windows. Not very nice owner.

I fully agree with the comments made by 'oldbanker'.
Our family of 4 stayed at this hotel for 10 days. We thought our apartment was clean, very comfortable and well equipped (though we could have done with an extra saucepan!)
The location was great it is certainly in a tiny street with lots of steep streets nearby, but that is what Istanbul is like.
The hotel staff were very helpful. We were taken around the nearby streets to show us local shops where to buy bread, pastries and vegetables. ...

Except for the comment about the elevator, I would have a hard time disagreeing more with the first reviewers opinion. My wife and I found this tiny apartment hotel perfect for a few days in Istanbul. The managers were both very friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood was a delight to shop for our daily provisions. It was also very well priced. My only cautions would be that you shouldn't stay here if you want a full service hotel with pool, room service etc and that since there is no lif ...

First of all I strongly recommend you do NOT go to Sultanahmet Suites. They call themselves ?a 4-star hotel?, but it's certainly not the case. They are far from what a 4 star hotel should be. This is only a 4-room apartment building. Staff was nonexistent. I just found the owner, who showed up sometimes during the day, and a part-time cleaning lady. At night, there is absolutely nobody to take care of the guests. There is no bell boy. So, you need to carry your own luggage and go up narrow stair ...

I chose Sultanahmetsuites because I had read glowing reviews on a travel site, but this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. This hotel has NO staff, only the owner, and is empty most of the time. The lobby area was dark and tiny. You need to climb a steep hill to go anywhere, including Sultanahmet and Topkapi. Kitchen not fully equipped. No elevator to go up to 5th floor. No telephone in the room. No bathtub. Wifi did not work the entire week. No service at all. This hotel has very bad servic ...
