I applied for a Discover More card. I filled out the application for a Discover More card, but apparently did not qualify for a Discover platinum card, but did qualify for an HSBC rewards Discover card. A few weeks later I received a letter in the mail stating that my application for a Discover card is not complete and to call a number to give more information. I called the number and the representative told me that everyone is first screened for a Discover platinum card and i did not qualify. However, I did qualify for an HSBC rewards card with the Discover logo. I asked if this was a Discover More card (this is the application that I filled out online) She said that this is a Card from HSBC, one of our partner banks and it does have a Discover logo on it. Well, I don't know if i am going to accept this card. I didn't understand the recording that i listed too about the card on the telephone and i said yes to it. I wanted the Discover More card not an HSBC card. I dont think that it is the same.
