Do not touch this firm with a bargepole. I have waited in all day for a Zanussi cooker I purchased on last Friday. It is now 4:45 and decided to read the confirmation email. I have bought stuff from them in the past without problems but it is very much how a company behaves when things do not go to plan that counts. I waited in for delivery. I called the call centre the Friday afternoon to confirm all was in order for the Monday delivery of my new fridge. The call centre person was friendly and helpful and confirmed all was on track. I had a failing two door fridge/freezer in a holiday home and suffered the problem of the fridge being too small and the freezer being very little used. I would never recommend Kitchen Science, ever. The shocking after sales support actually costs one more than the cheaper prices found on this website. Delivery has always been on time and delivery driver phones half an hour beforehand to let you know when he'll be there. the extracare/warranties/service plans are not covered by Kitchen Science. they are covered by TWG (The Warranty Group) formally known as AON. Also they are based in same building but completely seperate to Comet

They have not got a clue what they are doing, dont be sucked in by the price, unless you are happy to accept a very poor service.
It was agreed they would give me with at least "one hour's notice" before the driver made the delivery. Having waited around most of the day I eventually get a call from the delivery driver at 3:10pm giving me just 5 mins notice! As I live 45 mins away I could not get to the address in time. I therefore cancelled my order (no problem there thank God). Only to...

DREADFUL !!!!! Not delivered on day stated. Custmer services tried to say we were not in even though we lost a days wages by staying in all day.Now have to wait another three days but chose fast delivery, wont hold my breath. Will NEVER use them again. (read more)
