    The online booking system is fantastic. When you have to telephone a salon it's either engaged or you go on to voicemail in the hope that they call you back. It takes only a couple of minutes to do it online at your own leisure.

    When I lived in Edinburgh Salon Cafe was my regular salon. Since moving to Canada 4 years ago the first thing I do after booking my flight to Edinburgh is go online and book my hair appointment.

    Salon Cafe Hairdressers has great service, good results and friendly staff. Not cheap, but no good hairdressers ever is!

    good idea, but should be able to blow dry without products.

    Salon Cafe is situated just 2 minutes walk from Haymarket Station, and about 10 minutes walk from Edinburgh City Centre.

    The salon is modern, bright and well appointed. The staff are friendly and coffee is offered. It's not cheap, and a cut and blow dry is between £30 and £40 depending upon which stylist you book.

    It was my first time at the Salon, and I'd made an appointment with a Stylist/Director. After washing my hair we had a consultation about what I wanted; in this case ...
