After ordering my camera from Camerabox began to search for reviews about the company.After reading them I got very concerned,I was already thinking to cancel my order if it would not appear next day as promised.But I was pleasantly surprised,as I got my camera the next morning.Opening the package everything was alright with it, except the spare battery was missing,but they promised to send it on the following days.After 2 days battery arrived.The money was taken of my card the day of delivery.The other thing that got me worried is people having bad experience with their card account,saying that after using their card for paying for items bought on this site, money began to disappear from their account.So to be safe I canceled my card the following days.So far i am happy with the product, no faults,working perfectly.Tho I wouldn`t recommend it to the faint hearted.

If you want piece of mind, avoid at all costs!
Price is fantastic, delivery is fantastic but when i opened the courier packaging i was gutted. The Sony HX1 camera box was battered, without security seal from Sony or Camerabox and the stickers which should be displayed on the side of the box which display the barcodes and serial numbers for my product have been clearly peeled off.

They emailed to inform me that there was a problem with my order but did state what it was. When I read the mixed reviews from many site, I had doubts with doing business with this company thus cancelled my order.

They acknwledged my order cancellation and then proceeded to charge my credit card. After a phone call, they claim they had refunded me the money. We shall see if/when I get my money back.

Delievry fine - but camera was grey import despite advertized as UK product. Nikon UK will not cover warrenty work on grey items (Camerabox disagree but do you want to have a legal battle with Nikon if warrenty work needs doing?). Camera returned, but cost £20 to do so. Buy from Nikon UK distributor, bit extra on cost but worth it for guarantee of warrenty. A lot of reviews about this company on net. Read before buying!

I have had excellent service from Camerabox. I ordered a Canon Ixus 100iS colour red at 23.30 hours Monday the 9th of November 2009 and received it in excellent condition at 1700hrs the 11th November. After charging the battery I was using this lovely camera on the 12th. Thank you Camera box. Tom Hornsby

I ordered a Panasonic TZ7 camera from the company. The website displayed the product as "in stock". It was due to be delivered the next day. However three days later it was not delivered. Telephone calls on the second, third and fourth day did not produce a convincing answer. Email and voice message went unanswered. Their explanation is that there is "a huge backlog of orders on this camera."

I was put off using Camera box because of the wildly differing views. However given that they were (almost) the cheapest and that their rating was higher than some high street camera shops I took the risk and ordered my Camera.

I ordered it at 11pm on Tuesday and it arrived at 2pm On Thursday. It is not a grey import, it is brand new, it is a nice pristine box and the accessories and instructions are included. Camera box kept me informed throughout the process too.

Ordered Nikon D5000 bundle online on Monday late morning. It was delivered just after lunch on Tuesday, well packed, all contents exactly as ordered.
Tied to the best price on the market,a perfect product with next day delivery, I couldn't ask for any more. However it's how you perform when the customer is not happy that makes the difference. So far, so good!

Every review for this company seems to be either a dire 1 star or a glowing 5 star. I ordered my camera before I came across any reviews but fortunately my experiece has been of the 5 star variety.

Ordered my Sony HX1 after 4pm on a Friday, so wasn't expecting delivery until the following Tuesday. It duly arrived before 9am, UK model, complete and in perfect working order, all at a price far lower than anywhere else. What more could you ask for?

Two months ago I ordered a digital camera & spare battery. The goods arrived but the battery was fake and didn't work. I returned it and they sent me another battery but it was the wrong one. Still waiting - they've had my money for months and they simply do not respond to all my emails and phone calls. This company should quite honestly be banned from trading.

I decided to give Camerabox a go mainly based on price but also the fact that they were advertising themselves as a family firm, were aimed at professionals and they did next day delivery, but importantly to me, next day before 9am.

I needed a Nikon Converter at short notice and Camerabox came in at about £40 cheaper than the next lowest price, so I ordered.

Then I read the reviews here and groaned! but I needn't have worried, I got an email from Camerabox saying delivery was on the way. ...

I know there are a lot of poor reviews for this store on reviewcentre but I'm glad I didn't check before ordering! I bought a Sanyo Xacti CG10, at least £30 cheaper than anywhere else, alongside an SD card (not the cheapest) and a mini tripod. Delivery was £7.99 but worth every penny as delivered by DHL the following day, exactly as stated on their website.

You can't completely rule out all the lower scores on reviewcentre, camerabox clearly have some issues around service, web st ...

After being quite suspicious of this supplier (from reading the negative reviews online) i decided to call them because the price was just too good to miss.

I called them to make sure the item was in stock and a few more questions to ensure the genuinity of the product and the shop. They were very friendly and helpful.

I made my order online. They called me at about 6.30pm that evening to double check my address details because i supplied 2 addresses (one for delivery and one for billing) and ...

Spent a week looking for the best deal, no one came close as the SD Card was 8GB and a Class 6, I emailed them with a question, i phoned with a couple more, i then ordered after 5pm on a Tue and it was delivered Wed 1pm. Fantastic Service All Round 5*****

Don't trust this company. The live stock indicators is a lie. I checked stock and was told that 27 units were available yet had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. The stock is US import as it has NTSC playback not PAL. It also includes a plug adapator as the chrger is a US twin pin. The stock is not UK as the company advertises. These company can not be trusted, do not use them.

Stay away from Camerabox. I ignored the bad reviews and paid for it.

I am having a nightmare with this company. I placed an order for a Nikon battery grip on a next day before 12 on 1st Oct 09 and had no delivery a week later. I was told that CityLink sent it to the wrong depot then it vanished off the face of the Earth. I was then told by Camerabox that I would take delivery a few days later and again nothing came. I gave up and asked for my money back after well over a week of it not turning ...

Order not received next day when I asked they said it had been depatched but they could not get hold of carrier. When I phoned carrier they had no parcel coming to my address. Received camera next working day with depatch date of the day I phoned chased them. Box had been opened and note said manual to follow.

The manual I received was a bad photocopy nearly impossible to read after chasing they sent me a second photocopied manual. I am still months on waiting to recieve a original manual but ...

Please never shop here. Terrible shop. Website promised item in stock, but it wasn't. Still waiting a week later for 'next day delivery' also promised on website.

NEVER AGAIN - Ordered from their website that claimed item was in stock for next day delivery.(they make a big deal of their "live stock" website). 5 days later am still waiting for it. No-one cares when you ring and complain, and they are still showing item as "in stock" on their website
