I have used Tesco Photobook several times to create books for family members to mark the passing of their key anniversaries. I ordered two identical books in Jan 2012 and when they arrived one was perfect, but in the other the photos' orientation was offset by 90 degrees (imagine reading a book and folding the pages upwards). I chuckled and thought Tesco would just reprint one. Sadly no. After many emails from me and sporadic responses from them I still do not have the product I paid... (read more)

“Do not use Tesco Photobook”

I spent many hours of my Sunday afternoon creating a photobook for my grandparent and so it would be in time for Christmas. However, when i was finished creating the photobook the photobook would not upload to the tesco server. I tried numerous times on may computers to try and upload the photobook but nothing happened. PS. The programme is very difficult to use and is not very responsive.I recommend using Blurb instead it is so much more user friendly. I would definetely NOT recommend it. (read more)

I have shopped around for lots of personalised gifts this Xmas. My family are so hard to buy for!!! I came across tescophoto and have ordered a canvas for my Mum, a calendar for myself and my Mother-in Law and a mug for my husband. All with photos of my little ones! “Disappointing Again Tesco!”

This is the third time I have been disappointed with the Tesco photo service. In 2007 the pictures had to be reprinted because a white border appeared on 2 edges of all the photo's. In 2009 the photos were not great either, rather dull - the colours were wrong. At the time I blamed my camera and bought a new one, looking back at the digital images on my pc I realise that I paid for poor quality pictures - too late now. “Fantastic service - very quick and excellent quality”

I have used Tesco Photo for many years. Last week I sent off for 500 photos to be printed. They aim to deliever them in 7 days, but with the bank holiday I was expecting longer. I ordered them at 4pm on the Thursday and they arrived early on the Saturday morning...incredible!! The quality of prints is excellent and so was the price. I can strongly recommend this service. Terrible customer service if you have the books delivered to a store. They don't tell you whether they have arrived or not and when you call the customer services they tell you that you must call the store to find out if they are there. You can't get through to the store by phone so you call in. When you call in they know nothing about it and say that Tesco online will email you when the goods are in which they deny. Just wanted to recommend tescophoto. The site is really cool and you can create albums online which you can then share with your friends. I like it because friends can then choose to print photos from your album but you don't have to pay for it-they do! Also just noticed they have a special offer on 3p/print at the mo so just printed off all my Christmas photos (over 800 in total). Just tried getting some photos developed at standard size (6 x 4) to frame for the wall.
Highly disappointed with the quality of photos from the machine. I have now tried two separate stores: the first the pictures were not sharp; at the second the pictures were sharp but dark and grainy in quality.
Neither set were good enough to frame.
Will not be using Tesco again. Would happily pay more for quality over convenience as this was a total waste of money.

Ok so i have sold some Dalmatian puppies and decided it would be nice to give the buyers a photo album of the pups as they grew up.
17th November i sat for an hour and 1/2 uploading nearly 400mb of photos to Tesco photo online. On thurs 18th November the tesco website status said : 'pick up' - clicked on more info 'your item is ready to be picked up in store' Great.
A trip to tesco 4.5miles, no photos, "sorry there not here yet."
ok so Friday evening i go down, still no pics, Saturday...

I needed prints for my photography course homework, as my home printer is very bad so having seen the instore photo processing at my local Tesco I thought I'd give it a go. The instant print terminals were out of service which wasn't good as I didn't want to wait an hour but the consoles in store were easy to use. I had already cropped my photos so just needed them printed 7x5.

Terrible service, do not use! Didnt receive email to tell me product was ready for collection. They quoted incorrect store on website that product was being delivered to, therefore had to ring around stores to try and find out where exactly it had gone. Spoke to customer support 3 times and they were not very helpful. They told me the person I need to speak to was on lunch and to try and call again later. Tried Tesco's 40 free prints offer to try them out. They offer a 1 hour service if you upload at home and collect in the shop. Very disappointed and would go back to Jessops or Photobox/Boots next time. Poor colour (greens in landscape shots came out very yellow), poor definition (photos all have a soft-focus look) and very heavy cropping which ruined some pictures (I'd uploaded pics cropped at 6x4 so no additional cropping should have been necessary). I'm a photographer putting on my first exhibition, and decided to use Tesco Photo for my prints, as I've used them before, and was happy with their quality.
The exhibition was to be on the 28th of October, and so about a month before the exhibition I placed my first order for prints, and waited for delivery. A week later I was told one of the files uploaded was corrupted, and so they cancelled the entire order. Fortunately I'd given myself a month to get the prints done for exactly this...

Tesco Photo Centre Developing say that your photos will be ready in 24 hours from the local store, but (you need to read the small print after you've paid) they can and will take a week to process an order, much quicker going into the shop and getting them to do it themselves. (read more)

Prints were not as they look when I used Tesco Photo Centre Developing. Colours are wrong and images looked quite smudged and as if they had a lot of noise in the photos even though they had no noise when printed on my home photo printer. As my Tesco store does not have a photo printing service instore they sent mine off suppose to be a 2 day service and it took 5 days on top of this when my prints came back they sent me back the wrong memory card they sent me a 1GB memory stick pro duo and... I ordered a photo canvas for my brother in laws first anniversary, I ordered this online and went to collect from my nearest store. I went to pick it up after 7 days later as that was the waiting time. On arriving home I opened it to find a grey line going straight across the top of the picture. Had to take this back really wasn't happy with the service I recieved at all
