travelDep MS Stephanie - 5 Star Nile Cruise Ship - what a fantastic boat! been before on the Da Vinci which does not compare..this boat was excellent! Trips superb, guide fantastic and weather far too hot but who cares when you are seeing all the things you have dreamed of. A mix of English. Spanish, Italian and a few Germans and we all got on great. Get the pills from the chemist for about 2 pounds for the stomach, you will not have a spoilt holiday. Most of us got it and it is mainly due to the heat. If you don't feel up to it for a couple of pounds the boat staff will go for you. All in all is a fiver a fiver well spent???
Go all inclusive and stock up on your water each night ready for the early morning excurions. Food is good, fresh tasty and NOT washed in Nile water as some idiots would like you to believe. Ice is safe but just clean your teeth with bottled water to be safe. Don't drink iced water after coming in from 45 degree heat or you are asking for trouble and don't put air con on full blast..just be sensible and you will have the holiday of a lifetime...

highly recommend this travelDep MS Stephanie - 5 Star Nile Cruise Ship holiday! as a small number of brits together for a week on a boat and trips we made lots of friends, fanastic guides helped. super staff. well prepared good food,clean,very hot in july when boats docked. watch out for stomach upsets get tablets from egypt chemist they work best,worth upgrade to incluise as you will drink a ton of water,some early starts to exscurions this time of year but worth it Had a lot of fun

We have this week returned from a Nile Cruise on board MS Stephanie. The only reason the trip got 8 out of 10 was the weather. Too hot. The cruise and ship and itinery was 1st class. The food, lovely cabin and on board amenities where excellent. Anyone who has any complaints must complain about anything and everything. A wonderful experience.

MS Stephanie was so clean with rooms spring cleaned daily. Food excellent if a little bland. All inclusive essentially. Orbital guides excellent
The arrangements went well with great tour guides. There was a UK/German fight over the loungers which was dealt with. As others have said, they need more loungers, and enforce the no-bagging policy. Great masseurs
The only bad point for me was when paying at 4am they could not provide a copy of the bill, nor the credit card receipt. The amount was bill ...

We travelled with Orbital Travel, flying with Monarch Airlines and staying on the travelDep MS Stephanie - 5 Star Nile Cruise Ship from 02.03.09 " 09.03.09.
The initial booking was made via the Internet. We thought we had booked with a small specialist company, but it seems that there are several similar companies all under the umbrella of the Co-op. Our Eygyptian guide on the MS Stephanie was with us throughout the cruise, he arranged all the tours & was very knowledgeable, excellent tour guide. There were 22 English guests on board, & groups of Germans, French & Italian. I travelled with two children 15yrs& 12yrs. They thoroughly enjoyed the culture of Egypt & the boat. Excellent holiday would recommend the MS Stephanie to other travellers.
