I would have said this was a good cruise, except that 10-20% of the passengers got sick. Then, to make matters worse, our group of four was overcharged by nearly $2000. Sonesta's financial department is almost impossible to deal with, and the hours I have spent emailing them have achieved nothing. I now have to issue a letter disputing the charge to my credit card company. Do not trust Sonesta with your credit card information. (read more)

We sailed from Luxor to Aswan in September 2008. The entire staff on board was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. As we sailed down the Nile, I looked at the other ships that we passed; truly, the Sonesta Moon Goddess was the cleanest and most attractive of all that I saw. I would recommend it to anyone!
