    Bad Points: keyboard, screen is too reflective - like a mirror at times.... hard disk is small....


    General comments: The Acer Aspire 7720 is quick..... CRAP keyboard....

    Used Acer Aspire 7720 as a desktop replacement, this laptop is fine; its excessive weight is not an issue. It has performed well as such for a year now. Some early boot-up hang-ups seem to have resolved themselves (via updates?).
    The cooling system is nice and quiet, unlike the Hi-Grade Ultinote's I had, that drowned out the puny speakers!
    The 'Crystalbrite' widescreen is perfectly ok for what we want (word-processing, displaying photos, watching i-player, etc). It suffers little from ambient l ...

    Purchased an Acer Aspire on 15th/10/2008 and it was faulty within a few days and returned to the store on 21/10/2008.
    Major boot problem when left switched off for a while then when trying to turn the notebook back on all that came up was a black screen and a flashing cursor in the top left hand corner and it stuck there until it was turned off again!
    We were lucky that this problem arised so soon and we were able to return it back to the store and exchange it for a completly different model. Wo ...
