    Good Points:


    General comments: I could not do without Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks in my collection of books on porcelain. This volume travels with me to all auctions, estate sales, and antique fairs. Indispensible in identifying English Porcelain...Expert reference work from the leading expert in the field of English porcelain history and identification. Not only supplies illustrations of the manufactures various marks, but also the dates they were used. Format may confuse if you don't take the time to read the introduction and the references in the bibliography do not contain publisher's name...however these are minor problems compared to the wealth of information found here. The price should not bother the serious collector...

It has everything you need to know on buying British pottery and porcelain marks and helps you to identify when a piece was made, making it essential for serious collectors as well as beginners.
