Good Points: Clear screen, works well, custom POI. Kenwood Tech support friendly but Garmin very unhelpful.
Bad Points: From a satnav point of view. All Custom poi either on or off depending on zoom level. This makes the map very cluttered at times. The ideal would be Tomtoms way of switching groups on or off. Sometimes the instruction comes too late to be able to carry it out. Does not update the map fast enough on round abouts so anything but the largest and slowest round abouts leaves you guessing. Switching off the next turn popup facility improves it. I haven't found a way to reduce the size of road numbers, again this clutters the map. A few other nags but these are not specific to the kenwood and afflict most satnavs.
General comments: The previous review sounds like an advert but it is correct in that the price is reasonable for what you get but if you don't need the other junk and can manage with a smaller screen buy a Tomtom. If you have simpler navigation needs it is ok but if you do a lot with poi it isn't as flexible as others.

Satnav is powerful, features full European mapping. Good integration with Kenwood accessories, such as DVB tuner for Freeview TV, PS-series amplifiers, BT handsfree/audio connectivity and naturally CD-changers and so forth.
