I have had a number of driving instructor before but [name removed] was miles better, she knew what she was doing and her techniques really worked. She was a bit strict but understanding at the same time. I learned a lot more in her intensive one month lesson than I have with all the other previous driving instructors combined. I was so pleased with the service that I actually recommended her to some of my friends. (read more)

They put me in contact with a driving instructor called Wendy and she is the best driving instructor you could ever ask for!! I am sorry to hear that others have had bad experience with kankan. however i have not dealt with kankan call centre. I contacted my instructor directly after noticing her car parked on the street. [name removed]is extremely thorough and makes sure you understand eveything you will be doing each lesson. I would recommend kan kan driving school to any female learning to drive, I was really nervous at first but when I met my instructor she made me feel confident. I have learnt so much already and only on my fourth lesson. I think it's good that you can choose how many hours you want in a lesson & you can choose what time and day you want the lesson. kan kan driving school helped me pass my driving test, i was able to choose the dates and times of my lessons, how long they went on for and what i wanted to learn in them. I was not happy with my instructor,they told me that's fine,they will find another one in my area,IT HAS BEEN FIVE MONTHS and i have called them more than 50 times!!! every time i call them somebody tells me it's sorted now,the new instructor will call you tomorrow,and that tomorrow has never came!!!I go throw the same process every day and no result and they say the money is not refundable (£64.50 I paid), if kan kan is the only driving school on the earth DO NOT CALL THEM FOR ANY REASON (read more)

I have now had 6hours worth of driving lessons and with all of them she has rang/text me saying that she isn't able to make it and gives me some sort of excuse. I was forced to give one star, as I would have preferred to give none!! I hope people are doing reviews on these companies before they take lessons with them!!!! They refuse to give you back your money and their tutors are absolute rubbish. They drag lessons on and discourage you from taking your test even after months of lessons. The instructor was awful and he didn't listen to me whatsoever. I book a block of 5 lessons with them a couple of weeks before my 3rd test. The instructor treated me like a beginner from the moment he picked me up. He wouldn't listen to me when I told him what I needed to practice. On the week of my test he canceled on me TWICE and I had to change my test. I emailed them about getting a refund since i only managed to get 2 lessons out of the 5, but two weeks later, I'm still waiting to hear... (read more)

My instructor was constantly late or didnt show up at all!!! She was rude to residents of the housing estates we practiced in and to other road users. I was taken on the motorway during my lesson too. When I cancelled the lessons and asked for a new instructor I had paid for a block of ten lessons. I was NOT refunded the money. Kankan said it wasn't their problem and it was up to me to take up with the instructor...needless to say I never got it back. Due to this we just cut out losses... (read more)

Didn't have a good experience with Kan Kan, the office staff weren't that help full, it felt like once they had your money over the phone they wouldn't let u have a refund, even when my instructor didn't turn up and told them I wanted to go with someone else, they wouldn't give me my money back and u felt like I had no chose or I would lose my money. I would recommend her to friends and family. She is very calm and patient and explains things in an easy to understand way, breaking everything down step by step and does not mind having to repeat herself when you do not get it first time!

I agree too but not the instructor bit, mine was great but he is self employed and himself embarassed at the companys ethics.
